Mizuki's POV
I woke up from my short nap when we arrive. The trip was only a few minutes since this is the deciding tournament for only the Miyagi Prefecture.
Being the softie that he is, Tsukishima let me sleep on his shoulder again. But the poor guy had to handle all the teases from the others by himself.
We got off the bus and made sure we didn't forget anything. I wore my glasses today so that I won't draw attention to my tired eyes. But I was getting ready for the big reaction of Nishinoya and Tanaka seeing me with my glasses for the first time. Actually, this is the first time all of them will see me in glasses. My glasses are rounded, unlike Tsukishima's or Kiyoko's. But the frame is black like theirs.
The moment Hinata, Kageyama, Yamaguchi, Nishinoya and Tanaka saw me, they pointed at me with flushed faces, wide eyes and open mouth. Tsukishima was just hiding his flushed face. But I'm too sleepy to analyze their reactions.
"Y-YOU'RE WEARING GLASSES?!", Hinata asked, still pointing at me.
"At home, yes.", I answered, turning my back on them so that they could compose themselves.
I yawned and carried my bag. I looked back at them and they were wearing the same expressions.
I sighed and walked towards Kiyoko and Yachi instead.
"What's wrong?", Kiyoko asked. I looked behind me and saw them still wearing the same expressions. Yachi looked too and made a confused face.
"It's their first time seeing me wearing glasses.", I explained.
"Oh, I see. Must be hard being beautiful huh?", Yachi asked, then looked around us as if she was scared that someone will kill her.
"I'm not. I mean, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some might find someone pretty, some might not.", I explained.
"Well, I guess you're right. Do you often wear glasses?", she asked.
"At home. In some cases, if I wanna look more mature and intimidating.", I answered.
"Well, it sure works. You look like a totally different person now!", Kiyoko looked amazed.
"You look hot!", I heard Nishinoya shout. I looked at them and then they gasped and pointed at me again, blushing.
"I just wanna get a few more minutes of sleep.", I faced Yachi.
"What makes you wear glasses today?", she asked.
"To hide my tired eyes. It's really swollen.", I answered, blinking a few times.
"Well, we have lots of time before the matches, you can sleep until then. Me and Yachi will take care of things.", Kiyoko said with a smile.
"Thank you so much. I'm sorry I can't be much of help today.", I bowed, making them jump.
"It's okay, just take all the time you need to rest.", Kiyoko said, patting my shoulders.
We all walked together to get inside. Once we were there, we signed up before settling. I waited for everyone to settle down incase someone needs help. After that, I sat down beside Tsukishima, hugged my knees, bowed my head, and tried to sleep.
But it was too loud. Hinata and Kageyama was too loud. I couldn't sleep anymore but still kept my head down and my eyes shut. I heard some unfamiliar voices talking about Karasuno and I can't help but smile. They don't know what Karasuno is capable of. They would be so surprised. But then I got distracted because Kageyama is shouting at Hinata again for being an idiot.
