Chapter 5: Brothers

Mizuki's POV

I woke up with the sun shining on my face. I looked around and saw everyone already awake. I sat up and stretched. The last thing I remember... was falling asleep on Tsukki's back.

"How did I get here?", I asked scratching the back of my head. I noticed that my shoes are neatly placed beside my bed and that my earrings and hairtie was on the nightstand.

"Well, that blonde cutie brought you here last night. He took off your shoes and all. He even tucked you in.", Kaori said, much to her dismay.

My eyes widened and I believe the rest of my day will be great upon receiving this information. I looked down, trying to hide my smile, but failing ofcourse.

Still smiling, I stood up with so much energy now. I quickly took a fresh set of clothes. And since I'm happy and it's the last day, I chose a bright yellow shirt and high waisted skorts.

I took a quick shower, dried my hair and went back to my room. I wore my white sneakers and walked with Yachi to the cafeteria for breakfast. Just then, we saw Hinata walking down the hallway.

"Good morning Hinata!", I called him, walking down the stairs with spring on my steps.

"Hi Mizuki, hi Yachi!", he replied with cheer too.

"Hi! You both seem sprightly today!", Yachi said.

"Well, it's morning so I have lots of energy.", Hinata explained.

"I'm too happy to explain, I feel like I'll explode in joy if I do.", I said, smiling widely.

"Is it about last night?", Yachi smiled.

I pressed my lips together and started jumping around them happily while giggling. I then stopped and held my cheeks.

"Let's just go before I make this place a bouncy house.", I said, taking small steps.

Hinata and Yachi giggled, happy seeing me more energetic than Hinata. We walked down the stairs together and when we got down, we bumped into Tsukishima.

"Good morning!", I greeted him, happier than usual. He raised his eyebrow, confused.

"Uhh, morning.", he replied, still confused.

I just giggled and continued walking down stairs with Hinata and Yachi. We went to the cafeteria and ordered some food. We sat down the tables and ate.

"What's up with you today?", Kageyama sat beside me with his food. "You're like a living ball of sunshine.", he added.

"I'm just happy.", I simply answered, taking a bite.

"Why?", Kageyama asked.

I then choked on my food and started coughing. Then I saw 5 cups of water in front of me held by different boys from different teams.

"Are you okay?"

"Have some water."

"Here."

"Be careful."

"Drink this.", they said.

But Kageyama held his own cup in front of my mouth while he was caressing my back. I drank the water and took deep breaths. I bowed to the other guys who offered and thanked them, as well as apologized. Kageyama smirked at them teasingly and kept caressing my back. I hit his shoulder and just smiled at the guys who offered.

"You're just eating there and you manage to attract guys? Seriously you're radiating too much energy.", Kageyama said as we continue to eat.

"Yeah, you like, light up the whole room.", Nishinoya suddenly butt in our conversation, staring lovingly at me.
