Third Person POV
Mizuki walked towards the gymnasium, feeling a little bit better now. It was night now, and she's certain that Hinata and Kageyama are still practicing, or at least cleaning. She turned on the corner and saw Yachi and Kiyoko just leaving. She stopped walking and waited for them to leave.
Everyone went home already, except the duo. Mizuki walked inside the gym and saw the two cleaning the gym. Hinata noticed her first and then he shouted and ran excitedly.
"Mizuki-chan!", he attacked her with a hug.
"Hi.", she said, resting her head on Hinata's shoulder as he hugs her. He pulled away and looked at her worriedly. "I'll help you clean.", she added and walked to the bench to drop her bag.
Hinata felt like she needed space so he stayed quiet for now. But Kageyama wanted to know what's happening to her right now.
Mizuki entered the storage room to grab a mop, Kageyama followed her so they could talk.
"Hey, I'm sorry for earlier.", he started. Mizuki looked at him blankly but she made a small smile.
"It's okay. I'm sorry too.", she said, looking down, rubbing her arm.
Kageyama stood in front of her. Hinata noticed it was quiet so he also went to the storage room, he just stood there, keeping the silence.
"I wanna know what's bothering you. It bothers me too.", Kageyama straightforwardly said.
Mizuki looked down and stayed silent for a while. She doesn't want to tell anyone but it's best to let it out, so she cried silently. She leaned on Kageyama's chest and sobbed. He didn't do anything and just let her cry, still waiting for an answer.
"T-Tsukishima.", she answered.
Kageyama's eyes widened and he instantly felt a pang of anger. But he figured that Mizuki needs comfort first, so he wrapped his arms around her and comforted her.
Hinata looked down, also almost in tears, seeing his girl best friend cry for the first time.
Then, he heard someone walking inside the gym so he turned around and saw Tsukishima and Yamaguchi.
"Tsukishima?", Hinata asked.
Mizuki heard it and she stopped sobbing. Kageyama heard it too and felt frustrated.
"I forgot my knee pads.", Tsukishima said, walking towards the storage room and grabbing his knee pads beside the door.
"Where's Kageyama?", Yamaguchi asked.
"Hinata.", Kageyama called, motioning Hinata to come to Mizuki. Hinata looked at him and obeyed. He hugged Mizuki, replacing Kageyama.
Kageyama went outside and grabbed Tsukishima by the collar.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY TO HER?!", he asked, frustrated. Tsukishima looked over his shoulder and saw Mizuki crying to Hinata. Yamaguchi stood there, not knowing what to do.
"I TOLD HER HOW I FEEL.", Tsukishima replied, getting mad too.
"THEN WHY IS SHE CRYING?", Kageyama asked. Tsukishima's eyes widened. Everyone knows how Tsukishima felt about Mizuki, everyone know he liked her. "WE ALL KNOW YOU LIKE HER, WHY DID YOU REJECT HER?"
Tsukishima was enraged but be tried to keep his cool.
"You have no idea, about what I feel about her.", he sternly replied.
"No idea? CUT THE CRAP. WHY IS SHE CRYING?", Kageyama asked.
"I REJECTED HER AND SHE GAVE UP.", Tsukishima replied.
