Third Person POV
"Okay, I opened the 3rd floor for you to explore. I told you, there's nothing to be worried about.", Mizuki said, wearing an awfully suspicious smile.
Hinata, Nishinoya, Tanaka, Yamaguchi, Lev, and Taketora forced a smile of bravery. But they were visibly shaking in their boots.
Tsukishima chuckled, and didn't say a word, simply walking away. Because of his lack of exposition, the group was more frightened.
"N-Noya-san, I don't think it's that important to go there, m-maybe we should just keep our hands to ourselves and h-help with making dinner?", Hinata suggested.
"It's fine, we got it. We'll help Mii-chan with everything.", Kuroo smiled, then also walked away, following Tsukishima.
Again, the lack of exposition scared them more. They're limiting their speech into a few sentences and that usually means something bad.
"No, S-Shoyo. I'll prove that t-there is nothing to be afraid of. W-we can do it!", Nishinoya wanted to sound positive.
"That's the spirit.", Mizuki giggled, making a ghost joke.
"What possessed them to go there anyway?", Tendou asked, making another joke.
"I think it was because of a dead sound of a crying child last night? I certainly didn't hear it.", Shirabu answered, making another ghost reference.
"That's frighteningly weird.", Semi added.
"You guys have been there, you know there's nothing to be afraid of, right?", Mizuki asked.
"Yeah, sure.", Kawanishi shrugged then walked away with the rest of Shiratorizawa.
The group were pale after hearing all their ghost references. Mizuki chuckled and looked at them.
"Well, I hope you get your answer there. I'll get going now!", Mizuki waved and ran away.
The group looked at each other, then at Nishinoya.
"Alright, let's do this.", Nishinoya sighed and walked ahead.
The others followed him, trying to act tough. They all went to the elevator and pressed the button for the 3rd floor.
"There's nothing to worry about, Mizuki-chan said it herself. And she never lies!", Hinata said.
"G-good point.", Yamaguchi nodded.
The elevator stopped and the door opened. They hopped off the elevator and it closed. The group looked around and it looked... normal.
Nishinoya scoffed in relief.
"Ha! I told you! Everything is fine!", Nishinoya smiled.
"Then... how do we explain the cries last night?", Lev asked.
"Maybe we should look around?", Tanaka suggested.
"Good thinking bro!", Nishinoya held a thumbs up.
Suddenly, they heard footsteps.
"W-what was that?!!!", Hinata exclaimed, hiding behind Tanaka.
"Who walked? Was it you guys?", Taketora asked.
"B-but we haven't moved an inch from here!", Yamaguchi answered.
"Maybe it was just a mouse or something. L-let's go and look around.", Nishinoya forced a smile and they nodded.
They walked forward until they were in the middle of the long hallway, seeing all the other rooms. It was... eerie in there. The hallway to the right looked like it was under renovation, there were flickering lights, broken wood planks torn wallpaper, and dust everywhere. The left side looked foggy, there were webs, the lights were off, it turns on for a second then turns off for a while again.
