Chapter 7: Hunting

Fans cheer when they see Alvara on the giant screen getting ready for her match. She's walking down the long hallway quietly when she stops dead in her tracks, staring spitefully straight ahead, her fists clenched ready to strike if necessary. The camera pans wide and the fans cheer as Taker and the Ministry appear on screen. "Oh..oh Jim...that's not good for Alvara" King said suddenly stressed for Alvara.

Taker moved towards Alvara slowly while Alvara didn't look down at him, not intimidated by his presence. "So you're the one making so much noise in the locker rooms?" Said Taker to Alvara smiling, hands behind his back and walking around Alvara. "You interest me Alvara. Listen, and if you join my Ministry, I could make you the most powerful woman in this company." Alvara doesn't take her eyes off Taker, not trusting him at all in this dangerous and cold-hearted man. She looks at the Ministry who is still a few meters away smiling mischievously but not approaching. "Imagine you and me being the most powerful wrestlers this company has ever known." he said.

Alvara looks him in the eye, smiles. "I walk alone. I don't need you." She said before passing in front of Taker, jostling him. Everyone is shocked, she refused Taker, he turns around, his fists clenched, his eyes very mean. "I don't like that look..." Jim said to the comments. "Oh Alvara you don't know me..." he said before the cameras returned to the ring for the next match.

Lini has finished her first TV appearance of the evening, she is quite satisfied and hopes to have met Taker's expectations. She didn't look down once, she was shaking a little but she stayed in character; and then the hatred she already has against him worked in her favor. She walks quietly backstage when she sees an open locker room with blue lights in the distance, she peeks into the locker room and sees Taker getting ready for his on-screen appearance.

The music of The Undertaker echoes in the arena and Taker appears on the giant screen in a blue room, arms folded. "Alvara, you can hide but it's only a matter of time now. I left you no choice, you will be in my ministry whether you like it or not. And tonight I suggest you to watch your back, I'll never be far from you." He warns before rolling his eyes.

"...and the next match of the evening, Chyna will face the dark Alvara Ciadra who made an incredible debut earlier this month!" said Jim Ross enthusiastically. "Exactly Jim!" everyone is talking about this mysterious woman and let's not forget that Undertaker is on the hunt, he wants Alvara in the Ministry but the latter refused!" Jerry said before the camera are backstage, Alvara is in her dressing room on the about to leave but realizes that the lights are flashing and that the door is blocked "Oh no..." Jerry says seeing what is behind Alvara.

The Acolytes emerge from a closet, fists clenched, while Alvara has yet to check behind her, not knowing they are there. The lights flicker more and more, she feels a presence behind her, she slowly looks behind her and sees the two guys ready to fight.

"Did you really believe the Lord of Darkness gave you a choice?" Said Farrooq looking at her meanly. Alvara turns around and stands ready to fight if necessary. Bradshaw laughs not believing his eyes that this woman would want to fight against two big guys.

"Boo, we're scared! you're not that dangerous! go follow us or we will do it by force!" Said Bradshaw almost mocking her not believing that women are stronger than him.

"She said no, leave her!" Jerry cried helplessly at the commentary table.

Alvara feels trapped by the Acolytes but grabs Farooq's arm when he tries to grab her arm. She dodges Bradshaw's blow which goes straight to her ally's face. She grabs a flesh and knocks them out with it "I said no" She said to them one more time, looking at their body laying on the floor maliciously before leaving.

The camera continues to follow her to the entrance to join the ring. But only the Viscera and Mideon part is interrupted which blocks her way. "You have no choice, honey!" Said Viscera smiling mischievously.

The lights flash even faster than before which allows the young woman to run behind them. Mideon didn't have time to turn around when he got punched in the face and Viscera got hit with a fire extinguisher and knocked him into the wall.

Alvara's music starts playing as the lights flash and turn purple. She walks towards the ring with a determined step, takes off her jacket, throws it in the audience before slipping into the ring and hitting Chyna directly when the referee did not have time to ring the bell. "And here we go! Alvara wants to fight it out!" Jim shouted into his headset.

Alvara punches Chyna in the corner, the ref tries to gain respect in a count against Alvara, tries to separate them. Alvara finally takes off her long jacket and starts punching her again who is knocked out sitting in a corner. She pulls away, waves like lace and runs to Chyna for the DropKick and falls but the Eighth Wonder of the World doesn't give up.

Suddenly Alvara holds her head, the lights start flashing again, trying to focus on her game. White smoke comes out around the ring and a voice that is not unknown echoes throughout the arena. "You won't escape me Alvara..." Taker's voice echoed around the arena, the lights started flashing faster, Chyna took the lead punching her in the face. She kicks her and gives her a submission hold, Alvara cries out in pain as the referee asks if she wants to give up.

"Come on, give up, bitch!" Chyna shouted at Alvara. Alvara raises her hand ready to tap but the fans cheer in support of Alvara. She manages to drag herself out of submission and punches Chyna in the midsection which frees her muscular arms from Alvara's head. She pushes her as hard as she can into the ropes and Alvara gets a big boot to the face.

"Alvara is in trouble against Chyna." Jim tells Jerry when he sees Alvara being misled by Chyna. "Looks like she's bleeding from the mouth from the big kick." Said King seeing Alvara's mouth.

Indeed, Alvara is bleeding from the mouth but Chyna gives him no chance to recover. She throws Alvara into the ropes, goes to elbow her but Alvara dodges the blow that goes under, jumps over the ropes, Hurricanes Chyna. The lights started flashing again, but blue this time. Alvara recognizes this blue color, looks around her, she knows that Taker is not far away.

She climbs into the corner and climbs the third rope, a few fans raise their arms as Alvara knows this is the end of Chyna. The lights keep flashing blue but also purple, she jumps and lands hard on Chyna and gets pinned;

"1...2...hey! the light!" Said King when the lights went out, fans were screaming, wondering what was going on. Everyone doesn't know what's going on until the lights come back on, Alvara is confused but Chyna is gone. The entire Ministry runs into the ring, surrounding Alvara who is still on guard, unsure who to strike first.

The lights continue to flash, the undertaker's music plays, Mideon tries to grab Alvara but she punches him, kicks him between Viscera's legs.

She fights like a warrior against the acolytes who try to hold her but in vain, she takes advantage that the lights continue to flash to give a punch to one while the other receives a big kick in the face after Alvara threw himself into the ropes. She stays on her guard, looking all around her, she knows he's not far away, she can feel him. She comes down from the ring, takes a chair before going back up. The lights went out like a blackout for a few seconds before the light flashed back on.

She feels arms tight around her, struggles as hard as she can but can't run away. Taker appears out of nowhere behind her and attempts to kidnap her. The purple and blue lights keep flashing, Alvara is losing strength, she feels her eyes getting heavy and falls unconscious. As the lights went out and Taker's most demonic laughter echoed around the arena.

"Good god! Alvara has been kidnapped by Undertaker! Somebody come and help her!" Jerry shouted before the TV commercial.

Sergeant Rodriguez has the whole case file spread out on his desk. Photos taken from the crime scene: the bodies, the bullets,the robot portrait,  some casing, a tire track. Witnesses who saw the murder happen: "It was a black van but I don't see who fired.", "This poor man argued with a man with a cap at the entrance to my store. ", "He didn't try to avoid this woman and her child who were running on the pedestrian crossing. Rodriguez crossed out the last line which is not a testimony but a fact and then began to reflect.
