Chapter 24: House show

Arriving in Columbus, Ohio, the ministry heads to their rental cars to drive to the hotel. As soon as they arrive, they sign a few autographs for the fans present before going to the hotel reception. Lini goes to her room, puts her suitcases down and sits on the bed, she takes her phone and tries to call Will. But no answer, she is sad that he didn't want to talk to her, she didn't want to hurt him. She lies down on the bed, rolls onto her left side thinking of Will when suddenly her phone rings.

" Good morning ?"

"Lini! it's me, sorry I went to bed late yesterday!"

"Will! God, I thought you were mad at me since last night." She sat up, very happy to have him on the phone.

"Honestly, I was disgusted but today is another day. So where is Agnes so I can look for her to babysit her?"

"Will...Don't be mad...Since...Since you weren't answering me, I...I called Taker so that one from the ministry could babysit at his house..." She said as she got out of bed looking out the window biting her nails in stress when a long silence settled between the two, Will clenched his jaw trying not to show any jealousy or anger towards Lini.

"Okay"

The most terrifying OK she's ever heard, she's shaking, feeling Will very angry, she has tears welling up in her eyes, not wanting him to blame her.

"I have to go..."

He said before hanging up the phone. Lini hangs up, closes her eyes trying to calm herself from her anxiety before grabbing her bag and heading to the gym to clear her head.

"You really need to take care of your daughter Mark!" Paul says to Taker who has his hands against the window, head down trying to think. He's right, he shouldn't let himself go like that. He drinks, he goes out, he doesn't take care of his daughter when he's at home, doesn't pay attention to her like a father should for his daughter. He can no longer be the father he was before the tragedy, not while the killer is still at large.

The phone rang when Taker was going to answer Paul, he goes to his bag and sees the number that has been pestering Lini for some time. "Don't answer.." Paul went to say but Taker answered with the most intimidating voice.

"Listen to me! It's best that we don't meet because I'm going to torture you, break you, roll over you like you did to my family! I'm going to kill you!" He shouted before hanging up the phone and violently throwing it in the bag. "Mark.." Paul says but recoils when Taker steps dangerously towards him. "Stop calling me Mark! I don't give a fuck what you think!" He said dangerously before leaving for some air.

In the evening, Lini gets ready in her locker room, finishing her make-up. She teams up with Taker against triple h and chyna tonight, she's very focused to put on a good match. She goes to join Taker near the curtains, already ready for the stretching game. She watches Taker stretch her arms in silence as she looks around, there is no Paul.

"Taker where is Paul?" She asked, stretching next to Taker when she saw that Paul wasn't there.

"He sulks." He said without hesitation, Lini frowned wondering why he was sulking, Taker's music echoed through the arena, they were going through the curtains for the show.

Alvara and Taker walk to the ring, their eyes on their opponents, She walks to the opposite post from where Taker stands while Chyna and Hunter each try to get an eye on the two. Alvara faces Chyna while Taker faces Hunter, after a few seconds the four wrestlers back to their respective corners. Hunter let Chyna start the match, Alvara stays in the ring, her eyes on Chyna who is listening to what Hunter is saying. The bell rang and the game began.

The two women walked in a circle looking at each other before making a confrontation and Alvara did an armbar before throwing Chyna into the ropes and elbowing her. She throws herself into the ropes and performs a thigh drop before falling but Chyna kicks out. Chyna rushes to clap Triple H's hand when Alvara walks up to her. The referee tells Alvara to leave the ring and make way for Taker, she looks at Chyna for a few seconds before backing up to the corner where Taker is and Taker enters the ring. Triple h goes to punch taker but this one avoids him and gives him multiple blows, he intimidates the referee before redirecting himself to triple h but the one kicks and punches him before throw him into the ropes. Taker dodged the hit from triple h, picking up speed on the ropes before planting a DDT into him, he fell but triple h got clear.

He looked intimidatingly at Chyna who had one leg in the ring, lifted Hunter up and swung him into a corner. He ran to kick him but Hunter dodged him and kicked Taker in the knee, knowing full well that was his weak point. Hunter kicks him several times in the knee causing Taker to scream in pain and begin to limp. Taker sits in the corner while Triple H kicks him and backs off when the referee starts counting.

Alvara goes in the ring when Chyna hit Taker who was still in the corner, the referee tells Alvara to go back to her corner but she tells him that Chyna hit but of course the referee doesn't believe her. Chyna smiles at Alvara which upsets her a lot, Triple h lifts Taker up and throws him into the ropes and puts him through the 3rd rope as Taker lands on his feet.

Triple H does not give a second of respite to Taker who receives a nudge before being rung because of the stairs. They go back to the ring, Hunter kicks Taker's lame leg. He works on Taker's leg to do a sharpshooter, Taker cries out in pain. Alvara stamps her feet on the stairs to encourage Taker, the fans encourage Taker. Taker lets himself count but before the referee hits three, he sits down and takes Triple H by the neck, undoes the hold and gets up with him. He picks him up and gives him a chockslam before collapsing near the post where Alvara is. Alvara holds out her hand for Taker to step into the ring, Taker crawls over to her, still hurting his leg and claps her hand.

Alvara gets in the ring while Chyna does the same, she hits chyna several times before throwing her into the ropes and bodyslams her before getting on the 3rd rope and doing a frogsplash and doing the fall to chyna. 1....2....Triple h stops counting, Alvara glares at him while Hunter laughs at her. Suddenly, Alvara lands a big punch on Triple H, knocking him out. The referee deals with Triple H while Alvara didn't see that Chyna was already standing with a chair in her hand. She didn't have time to do anything, she got hit in the head with the chair, Chyna threw the chair out of the ring and did the fall. 1...2...3...Triple h & Chyna wins the match, Taker is on one knee next to Alvara, he didn't have time to break the fall. He looked at Alvara who was lying in the middle of the ring then returned his gaze to Chyna and Triple H who held up their arm and their title.
