Chapter 13: Rebirth

Lini is in her locker room, already in her wrestling outfit, with her hair and makeup on. She didn't have lunch or dinner, not being too hungry. She spent the whole day in fear of being shot or assaulted, she cried a lot and feels empty inside since this letter. Suddenly the acolytes take her by force, surprised that she is struggling not to follow them. "Leave me alone!" She cried, she headbutted Farooq and bit Bradshaw who didn't like it and slapped her hard to shut her up. Her wrists are bound with handcuffs hanging in the air. Blood flows from her mouth, her vision is blurry but distinctly sees the Acolytes leaving. She looks around, she sees straw, chains everywhere, smoke. A great anger rises in her, she struggles, cries. "You're not weak, he's testing you" she told herself. A shitty day she's having and there Taker decided to test her mind now when he knows she's not doing very well. What a monster! heartless! bastard! and he lets someone hit a woman!

Lini doesn't know it but Taker watches her on TV, very happy with his idea. Vince walks into Taker's locker room wanting to know what he wants, he rolls his eyes when he sees Lini tied up in a dark room struggling, he sees her crying, screaming for help. "The idea is to film her for 10 minutes and play that video shortly before I appear with her." Taker explained the idea to Vince who looked worried about Lini. "She knows?" he asked Taker already knowing the answer when he laughed.

"She'll hate me even more than before but she'll thank me later." Said Taker still watching TV then looked at Vince. "It's part of improving her character."

She's been tied up for 10 minutes, she's physically and mentally tired from fighting. She hears a creak coming from the door and it's Mideon, he has the key to untie it, he holds it back when her hands are untied. He carries her on his shoulders and leaves the room.

Mideon walks with Lini lying on his shoulders to her locker room and lays her on the couch. "Thanks Mideon, you can go." Said the deep dark voice, she frowned as she opened her eyes when she saw Taker crouched in front of her. Her mouth opens and closes wanting to speak but no sound comes out, she's too tired. Taker frowns when he sees she has a lip bleed not having seen on TV. "Who did this to you?" he asked with an intimidating voice. "Brad..." She tried to say but Taker immediately understood, he got up and left the locker room.

Taker looks for Bradshaw where he may be, in the various locker rooms, the cafeteria, the toilets, the parking lot. No Bradshaw. He finds him in front of the arena with Farooq giving some autographs to the fans. Everyone is happy to see Taker come probably to do autographs but he didn't seem in the mood, he takes Bradshaw by the collar of his black jersey and brings him back inside the building. "But man..what the.." Tried to speak but got a big punch in the stomach causing him to cough out his lungs from a very angry Taker for knowing what Bradshaw did. He watches him lying down coughing from his punch before crouching down. "Touch her again and I won't be aiming for the stomach, it will be the teeth."

Taker returns to Lini's locker room after teaching Bradshaw not to hit women. Taker is hit in the head by a bottle thrown by a very angry Lini; she regained her strength. thought Taker. "How dare you do this to me! You are a heartless bastard! I hate you !" Lini shouted, throwing objects at him. Taker tries to walk towards her but he is attacked by numerous bags, water bottles, anything that passes through the angry woman's hands.

"Rookie stop! You'll see later why I did that!" Said Taker quite loudly, Lini has a chair in her hands ready to swing towards him. " Oh yeah ? Why was that then?" She said, raising the chair ready to throw it at Taker waiting for his response. "Trust me, your character will evolve from tonight. You'll see." He says walking slowly towards Lini, putting his hands on the chair the rookie is holding in her hands. "You knew that today I wasn't too good and you took the opportunity to do that and you accept that someone from the Ministry hits me? What monster are you?" She cried crying, Taker manages to take the chair from her hands and hug her so she won't try anything again. He frowned when he realized what he was doing, not used to doing this but didn't move. "I never wanted him to hit you but yes I took this opportunity but as I told you, you will see the evolution of your character." Said Taker calmly.

Taker broke the hug and walked over to the chair where there is a cover, he opened the cover and took what was inside. He hangs the hanger on the hook, Lini has stars in her eyes, it's her new wrestling outfit. The top is sleeveless, leather and purple laces in the middle, black mittens and black leather shorts with purple laces on each side of the thighs, a big gray-black fur jacket that reaches to the ankles. Taker puts the lens box down before heading for the door to exit. "All will witness the rebirth of Alvara, more powerful, darker." He said smiling at the rookie before leaving the locker room.

Lini put on the new wrestling outfit, admiring herself in the mirror. It's both sexy and dark, she's already done her hair in Viking style, she ties the black leather straps around her thighs. She looks in the mirror loving what she sees, she loves the new Alvara Ciadra then takes the lens box, she sees the lenses are purple. She washes her hands before putting her contacts on her brown eyes, she closes her eyes then opens. It made her feel weird at first, but she smiled lovingly when the black brought out the purple of her clothes and her eyes.

She decided to leave her locker room to go to the Ministry locker room, she feels all the eyes looking at her, the women jealous of her. The outfit, the style fit her perfectly, Taker was right to change her style even if she finds it hard to admit it. Taker and his Ministry arrive from the locker room at the same time as Lini arrives, everyone is on their ass to see the rookie completely transformed, Taker looks at Lini with pride as she walks confidently towards them, his arms crossed. "Is it the same woman?" Said Paul with astonishment.
