Lona is in the cafeteria with her stuffed animal and thinks that when Paul decided to go talk to her, he knows that Lona heard the big argument between her father and Lini. She is sad because her father was happy in America with Lini and now he yells at her like she made a big mistake. She even thought her father would raise his hand like he does on TV when someone speaks badly to him or if he is angry.

"Uncle Paul? Dad and Lini don't love each other anymore?" » She asked innocently, Paul looked at her with surprised eyes, not sure if he understood; Mark and Lini in love? Paul thought. He drinks his coffee, thinking about how he might react to Lona. "Listen, you know that sometimes between friends and colleagues there are arguments," he said calmly to the little girl, trying to reassure her as best he could.

"Because dad, at home, gets along very well with Lini and no... it makes me sad.." Said Lona, Paul looks and smiles at Agnès who had just entered the cafeteria after having peed in the toilets. "Listen girls, these are aldut conversations, don't worry about your parents. Everything will work out." » He reassured them, looking at them and smiling. Then went back into his thoughts wondering what Lona meant, and thinks he will have a conversation with the man.

Lini is alone in the locker room, the stuffed animal that Mark has brought her in her arms, trying to calm down but her tears are flowing. She could hear the door to her locker room open and close, she looks at who it could be and goes to her daughter, sad eyes almost crying to see her mom like that. She tried to give her a reassuring smile despite the tears flowing, she held out her arms to Agnes and then her daughter gave her a big hug.

Mark and Paul enter the locker room after the match, Mark is still a little nervous but would like to hug Lini. In truth, he misses her terribly, in his arms, in front of him, in bed, wherever he is alone, he misses her. He wipes the sweat from his forehead with his towel and puts his belt next to him to get up and take off his t-shirt. "I didn't know you and Lini were lovers." » Paul suddenly said, Mark frowned looking at him wondering how he knew that. He and Lini are together but they haven't told anyone so the kids don't know yet.

"Who told you we were together? I'm not with the rookie..." he said dryly to Paul who laughed and sat down next to him when Mark undid his boots. "Oh because Lona told me that you and Lini don't like each other anymore so I was wondering if..." Paul said looking at him amused to see that Mark is trying to hide even from his oldest friend. How did Lona know? we were careful not to show anything. thought Mark. "We're colleagues, nothing more..." Said Mark as he took off his second boots and socks, he went into his bag to take out his pants and a polo shirt since it was cold this evening in Manchester.

"It's true that for a while you've been gentler with her.." He says crossing his arms, Mark turns his head enough to look at his friend. "My behavior towards her is none of your business..." he finally said, not wanting to talk about it, trying to avoid the subject, Paul stood up raising his hands. "Okay, I'll let you take a shower and I won't talk about it anymore..." he said before heading towards the door then turning back to Mark, looking at him sadly while his back was still facing him. him. "But if that's what I think, don't give up, I think it's the best thing that's happened to you in two years." » He said before leaving the room, leaving Mark in his thoughts.

After the show, Lini and Agnes enter the hotel room, exhausted from the match and the hard day she had. She was taking her shower when someone knocked on the door, Agnes left to open it but peered at the door, Agnes looked to the right and left of the corridor, nobody is in the corridor except an envelope on the ground at her feet. "Mom! there is a letter!" yelled through the door enough for her mum to hear, she looks around the envelope but there's no name. Lini comes out of the shower, a towel around her, her wet loose hair, she delicately takes the envelope from her daughter's hands. "Go take a shower honey." She says to her daughter before kissing her, she waits for her daughter to go to the shower to open the envelope, wondering who wrote to her anyway.

"Lini,

Maybe it's better that I write to you instead of trying to have a new conversation that's going to get us nowhere. I'm sorry for overreacting like this since Friday, you had your reasons for doing what you did and I had my reasons for being angry. Anyway.. I don't want to end my relationship with you just because this case has both of us got on our nerves. Tomorrow is the last day in England and I would like to surprise you to catch up with me, if you agree, I would like you to wear what is in the envelope.

Have a good evening my sweet, see you tomorrow I hope.

PS: I miss you deeply.

Mark,"

Lini smiles at Mark's letter then takes the envelope back in her hands to find out what it is. She pulls out some sort of little badge to put on a jacket or coat of the same stuffed cat that Mark took for her at the funfair. She smiles and puts it against her heart as well as the letter.
