Sergeant Rodriguez is in his office after researching Will Rifte by going to see his relatives. Will was born on October 14, 1968, his father was a butcher and his mother did not work. Will's childhood was very hard, he was shy at school and at home, his father beat him and his mother. He tried to enter the navy in 1990 at the age of 22 but did not have the capacity to do so. According to Will's mother, he always wanted to be in the navy just like Josh who wanted to be in the navy before becoming a policeman. Unfortunately for Will, he failed the tests which made him very sad and even depressed by it but it was in the mechanics, he has been working at "Just Repair" ever since.
Rodriguez then looks at the file of Josh McClay, born June 30, 1969, his father was a firefighter and his mother was in finance. Josh's childhood was a calm childhood and a lot of love. He entered the navy at the age of 21 before leaving the navy 2 years later wanting to pursue his dream of being a policeman. At the age of 23, he entered the police force and then during a traffic control, he met Lini who had committed a traffic offense during the year. He was driving away in his car after buying donuts when someone shot him twice, killing him instantly in 1997, leaving behind his wife and a young daughter.
"Chief?" Said Agent Brown opening the door to the office, Rodriguez stares at him wondering if everything is okay. "Two people would like to talk to you, they apparently have information that might interest you." He said, Rodriguez putting the files away in one of the drawers. "Let them in." Rodriguez said. Two men in their thirties come into the office, they look like normal guys but a bit tired. "Hello Sergeant" The three men shake hands before Rodriguez invites them to sit down. "I'm listening..apparently you have some information" Rodriguez said, pen in hand, ready to write their deposition. "Indeed, sir, we have information on someone who might be a suspect." Said one of the guys.
"Here, two years ago...we met someone who came to us offering us $500 to hit him, he was a little shorter than us, he was brown and wore a uniform of mechanic." he admitted. Will? Rodriguez thought. "And I bet you accepted at that time?" Rodriguez asked writing the end of the guy's sentence before looking back at them. "Being in a galley of money, yes." he confessed. "If I show you some pictures, would you be able to identify him?" Rodriguez asked, peeking into his drawer.
"We'll try, of course." Said the other guy, Rodriguez takes a file with pictures of people, turns the page one by one in front of them but in vain, they don't recognize anyone but one of the guys sees under the sergeant's arm, a picture , of a white guy, brown hair with a neatly trimmed beard. "It's him." Pointing to the photo which is half hidden because of Rodriguez's arm. He looks under his arm and takes Will's picture. "Are you sure it was he who asked you to hit him?" He asked, frowning but the two guys are formal, they recognize this man who came to them to hit him for money.

The afternoon was quite relaxing for Lini, she stayed in the garden with the children enjoying the pool and the sun. Mark helps her not to stress about being in the water because of her trauma, they try not to be too close in front of the girls but when they find themselves alone, a kiss, a hug discreetly before joining the children.
In the evening, they all go to the restaurant as a "family" before going to play a game of bowling. They decided to form teams, Agnès, Lini against Mark and Lona. The children took turns starting the game of course with the barriers on each side so that the ball did not end up in the gutter. The children had a wonderful evening playing with their parents, in the end it was Lini's team which won despite Mark's attempts to deconcentrate with a total of 150 points against 130 points.
On the way back, the girls were tired and had no trouble getting to sleep. Lini is very happy with her evening with Mark and the girls, she feels like a reunited family. "Thank you for this evening Mark." She said smiling looking at him as he focused on the road. "It was great, we should do this kind of outing more often." » He said smiling, looking at her briefly before returning his attention to the road. He looked briefly in his rearview mirror to glance at the girls behind before placing his right hand on Lini's thigh.

Arriving home, Lini hugs Agnes who was still sleeping while Mark holds Lona in his arms, she was no longer sleeping but wanted to be in her dad's arms. Mark lays Lona down on his bed, before going to the closet to get some pajamas to put his daughter in. "Did you enjoy your evening, darling?" » he asked, rummaging through the cupboard. "Alright dad." She said smiling with tired eyes, he smiled at his daughter putting on her pajamas before putting her to bed. "Good night daddy, I love you." She said, watching her dad tuck in her bed before caressing her daughter's face which reminds her so much of Jessie. "Good night sweetheart, I love you too." He said before placing a kiss on her forehead and leaving the room, taking care to put on the small night light before leaving the room.

Mark went downstairs to join Lini who was in the living room after putting Agnès to bed. He watched her bandage her thigh, so much so that she was concentrating on changing her bandage, she didn't see Mark sit down next to her. He gently takes the betadine compress she had in her hand and cleans Lini's wound. She smiles at his little attention, as soon as he finishes cleaning the wound, he takes a clean compress with hydrogen peroxide and puts it on the wound before bandaging Lini's thigh. "I didn't know you could be very caring." She says in a humorous tone, he looks at her and laughs at her comment. "I still care, it's just that you never noticed until now." he said simply after finishing bandaging her thigh, running his hand over the bandage gently so as not to hurt her, looking into her beautiful eyes. He takes her face and kisses her gently, wanting so badly to do this all day and evening but hasn't been able to get the chance. She placed her hands gently on Mark's chest before breaking the kiss.
"Mark...let's be discreet.." She said looking at the stairs leading upstairs, Mark looks at the stairs then looks at Lini who seems to be worried. "They're sleeping, don't worry." He says smiling, she stands up to remove her care products for her injury and puts them in the cupboard. "And...what if they don't accept?" She said, with her back to him, closing her eyes thinking if the girls don't accept their relationship, what will they do? separate? give up their love for fear of losing their child?
She felt Mark put his arms around her, reassuring her. "Look, don't worry about that right now." He said before she freed herself from her restraint, tears in her eyes, looking at him. "Don't you understand? If the girls don't accept, we will be forced to..to.." She said while crying , Mark placed his hands on each side of her neck, looking at her calmly, not at all panicked by the situation. "We won't have to do anything...as soon as we're ready to tell them, like it or not, I won't leave you." He says before kissing her forehead then looks at her wiping her tears with his thumbs. "But...they'll think.." She said before being interrupted by Mark. "...They can think whatever they want..." He said, taking her hands in his. "Let's go to bed, don't worry about that...we'll tell them when we're ready." He said before kissing her tenderly.
