After a shower and getting dressed, she prepares her things to leave the hotel. She doesn't want to go on the road with Taker, he's always been a jerk to her, disrespectful women who supposedly aren't equal to men. She walks into the parking lot looking for her car and when she sees it, she notices that Taker is against her car, waiting for her. She opens her car from afar, which catches the attention of Taker who looks around and watches her. He goes to the trunk of the car to put his own things in it, Lini stops in front of the trunk, looks at him very meanly.

"You don't have a car? too cheap to buy or rent one, right?" She says trying to poke him but Taker doesn't answer her, not wanting to argue because he knows she's in a bad mood because of her hangover. He continues to put the bags in the trunk. Lini passes left to go to the driver's side but Taker grabs her arm and reaches out his other hand.

"Keys please." Ordered Taker not wanting to die from an accident because of Lini. She laughed, not believing that Taker really wanted to drive her car. She's fine, it's not a headache that will prevent her from driving.

"Ah yes it's true, you're matcho, you think women can't drive." She said looking at Taker spitefully but he's still staring at her, without saying anything, only wanting one thing: the keys. Lini glares at him, reaching into her pocket, she throws them at Taker.

"Here are the keys, asshole!" Said she annoyed with him, wanting to go home as soon as possible and not see his big head anymore.

"THANKS."

he said with a smile before letting her go. Lini gets to the right of her car, goes to the passenger seat, puts on her seat belt and slams the door violently. Taker closed the trunk and walked to the driver's side, also put on his seat belt, glanced at Lini who had her head resting on her hand, looking out, before starting the engine.

~!~

The flight of the plane was calm for them, Taker was listening to music when he felt a head land gently on his shoulder, it was Lini who fell asleep despite the crying of the children of the people who were also in the plane. Taker puts the blanket he normally assumed was for him on Lini and returns his attention to the window while listening to music. A few hours later, they land in Houston. They will take their luggage before joining the car. Lini is surprised that Taker really wants to walk her home. Does he finally change his behavior towards her?

"But your car?" Said she saw Taker putting the suitcases in the car. "Don't worry, my car is already at my house. Get in." Reassured Taker before closing the trunk of the car. Lini got into his car on the passenger side and Taker on the driver's side like in Los Angeles.

During the ride, Taker has remained quiet and focused on the road as Lini thinks about what happened after the bar, she looks at Taker wondering if he might have the answers to her questions.

"Taker?"

"Hmm?"

"What did I do after the bar?" She asked looking at him. Taker thinks, licks his upper lip still staring at the road ahead. He hesitates to tell her what she did in the room, he knows she won't believe him, because it's not the kind of thing she would do. But she did, he enjoyed the kiss but he didn't want to take advantage of a drunk woman.

"Honestly ?"

"Yes."

She told him looking at him, wanting to know what she had done even though he was surprised. She knows it's the first time she drinks like that and has never been to a bar. Taker rubbed his hands against the steering wheel, gently stopping the car at a red light.

"Well... you were too drunk to walk so I helped you up to your room. Then I took your shoes off, you started to slack off, and you cried because you felt guilty for having fun when there's still your husband's killer out there. We had talked a bit and I suggested you come to my house so that you would be protected and then... you kissed me." He said with all sincerity.

Lini closed her eyes, rubbed her forehead, not believing her ears. Taker told her the truth, he didn't want to lie about what happened. The light turns green and Taker accelerates the car to continue down the road.

"And we have ?" She asked, already thinking that they slept together. "No. I may be mean, whatever, I didn't take advantage of this situation. I'm not this kind of man" Said Taker looking at the road, Lini is relieved that they didn't do anything at all that night, she's glad that Taker didn't try anything, she could feel the sincerity and honesty in his voice.
