After the show, Agnes, Will and Lini go to a small restaurant to celebrate Agnes' birthday. Agnes is very happy to have seen her mom wrestled, she was even more so when Taker is seen at ringside to watch Lini's match. As soon as it was Taker's match, Agnes encouraged heart and soul for her idol, she raised her arms like Taker does during his  entrance, she applauded when Taker took the advantage of her evening opponent. In the end, she was sad that her idol had lost, but in her little fan heart, he was still the winner.

The next morning, Lini is already up, having breakfast after the shower. She still had a good night yesterday for Agnes' birthday, Taker didn't piss her off surprisingly but she knows it's only a short time. She gets a phone call when she's cleaning the plates. "Hello?" She said wondering who it could be. "Hi Lini, it's Will, how are you?". Said Will on the phone.

"Well and you ?" Lini replied, putting the phone to her ear using her shoulder to free her hand to clean the dishes.

"I'm fine, I...I wanted to know what you're doing tonight?" He finally asked Lini, not sure if her answer was positive. "Nothing yet, why?" She replied, frowning with a smile, giving Agnes a kiss when she came in the kitchen to say hello to her mom. "I...I wanted to know if you would like to accompany me to a party organized by my work." He said crossing his fingers, wanting her to accept.

Lini smiles, it's true that since her husband's death, she's never taken time for herself or to go out without Agnès. Will knows she needs to breathe, especially if she is working with someone who is hard on her as he could hear and see. She agreed and hung up on Will and tried to find a babysitter to babysit Agnes for the evening.

Lini was cleaning her house when she heard someone knock on the door. She looks at the clock in her living room which indicated 5 pm, she stops the vacuum cleaner then places it against the wall before going to the front door. She could see through the curtain of the door, two silhouettes with a kind of kepi on the head.

She opens the door and the two officers take off their caps in salute. "Hello Mrs. McClay, we are Officers Brown and Johnson, we have some questions to ask you about your late husband. Could we come in?" One of the policemen said politely. "Of course come in." Said she surprised to see the police coming here, she let them in before closing the door behind them.

They head for the living room while Lini goes to prepare coffee and biscuits for these gentlemen. This is the first time in two years that the police have come to see her about Josh's case. The new police chiefs seem to be taking this matter seriously unlike the old police chiefs two years ago. I hope they'll do everything they can to find out who killed you. Lini thought.

She returns to the living room with a tray containing coffee as well as three coffee cups and small cookies. She pours coffee into each cup before giving one to one of the officers.

"What can you tell us about your husband?" Officer Johnson asked, gently taking the cup of coffee from Lini's hand. "Josh was a remarkable man, always willing to help people in need. He was someone who always had my back, he was very sweet." She said giving Officer Brown a cup of coffee before walking away. picking up her own mug in her hands, she let out a big, shaky sigh as she looked at her mug with tears in her eyes. "I don't understand why he was shot coldly." She said wiping her tears from her eyes. "Do you know if Josh had any enemies, do you have any idea who he had an argument with the night he died?" Officer Brown asked after drinking her coffee, Lini shook her head no, silent tears streaming down her cheeks.

"No, I don't know who he would have had an argument with, he was friends with everyone I felt like. Everything was going so well." She said with a shaky voice, accepting a handkerchief from one of the sympathetic officers "Do you have any leads or is it still stalled?" She asked lowering her eyes knowing well the answer they are going to give her. No, they can't find leads, all they have is this, this and this, but nothing more. "Indeed, we have news to give you." Said Officer Johnson looking at the widower surprised to hear that they have news.

"We found the killer's black van last night. We have clues that are being analyzed." He added the officer, she doesn't believe her ears, finally, the investigation is progressing, she waited two years for the investigation to finally progress! It's only been a few days since Sergeant Rodriguez is the new boss of the Houston police and the investigation is progressing! "W..when will you hear from the van scans?" she asked still in shock at the news. "It may last a few days, ma'am, but don't worry, we'll do our best to resolve the investigation." He reassured.

~!~

"Did you just find this?In two years ?" Disgusted Taker says the cops just found the black van that hit his wife and son. And nothing else. "I understand your anger Sir, we are doing analyzes on the van, we are on the right track." Said Rodriguez looking at the angry and tired giant, Taker drinks his whisky while looking outside before turning back to the sergeant, his eyes full of anger.

"The case should have been closed two years ago! Bunch of incompetents! The lake ain't even been searched while that fucking van was right in it!" Taker yelled at the sergeant, very furious that he heard two years for the investigation to move forward. The sergeant stands up looking at the furious man.

"I was there last night when the van was brought up to dry land, and it showed no rust, I think it hadn't been long under water. I understand your anger sir." Sergeant Rodriguez said, Taker looking at him dangerously wanting this matter solved, no longer having the strength to live with these unanswered questions. "No! you don't understand my anger! I spent two long years, widower, alcoholic, depressed, moving away from everything, trying to find out who took my wife and my son from my life! who took the life of my son and my wife, also took a part of me that is dead." Said Taker dangerously face to face with Sergeant Rodriguez who takes his kepi and puts his hand on his shoulder.

"We will do everything we can to lock up whoever did this, Mr. Calaway." Rodriguez says before patting Calaway on the shoulder and leaving, as Taker sits back in his chair, looks down, his elbows on his knees, runs his hands through his black hair, trying to calm himself down. the footsteps of a child on the stairs are heard, Lona looks towards the living room and sees her father not looking well. Of course, she heard everything from above. Why did dad yell at the gentleman? Why is dad telling everyone that mom and Calvin are out of his life? they just left the house..that's all.. Taker felt small hands on his lap, he slowly looked up and saw his daughter smiling at him. He held out his hands to her and Lona put her hands in his, he lowered his head not wanting his daughter to see him sad but Lona took her father's head in her little hands to look him in the eye. Even if her father has changed since her mother and brother left, she still loves him so much and she is sure that mom and her brother will come back, her dad shouldn't worry.

"I love you dad."
