When dinner is ready, Lini remarks that Paul was telling the truth, Taker didn't want to come back up to the living room to eat, that he was going to eat later. Lini saw Lona's face sad that her dad still isn't coming but Lini made conversation, she asked what they did at school, they talked about activities they would like to do and then Lini knew what Lona and Taker were talking about so that Lona is a sad look. Tomorrow is "Bring Your Kid to Work" day and Taker never wanted Lona to be with him at work, because it's dangerous, he told her.
Dinner is over, everyone puts their dish in the sink while the children go to brush their teeth before going to sleep. She goes to the room where Agnes is sleeping, she sees that she is already in bed, she sits next to her then kisses her on the forehead. She turned off the light before closing the door, then went down the stairs before hearing crying coming from one of the bedrooms. She walks over to the sniffling and crying sounds, opens the door and sees Lona sitting on the edge of her bed, crying.
She enters her room, sits next to her while Lona is still crying. "What's wrong princess?" She said with a sad voice, not liking to see her cry, Lona looked at Lini with her eyes full of tears.
"I miss my mother and my brother.." She said crying, wanting to see them again, she hugged Lini wanting some comfort. "Your dad doesn't have your mom's number so you can call her?" She said, still hugging him, rubbing her hand against his back. "No dad told me they wouldn't answer.." She said trying to calm down but she couldn't stop crying. She frowned when she answered him that, she looked at him after he broke the embrace with her. "For what?" she asked. Lona looks at the ground, her tears continuing to roll down her cheeks. "Dad always told me that mum and my brother are gone and he doesn't want to talk about it anymore when I try to talk about mum and my brother." she said between two breaths. What's going on in his life? she wondered.
"Listen my dear, no matter where they are, they will always be near you, in your heart. and your daddy..."
"And dad doesn't even spend time with me anymore, he's like he's not here anymore either." Lona cut in when Lini hadn't finished speaking. Lini looks at her with a sad look to hear this kind of thing from the mouth of a little girl.
After a comforting conversation with Lini, Lona ends up falling asleep with her rabbit comforter in her arms. Lini turned off the small lamp on the bedside table and closed the door.

She goes down the stairs then sees Taker who is in the kitchen eating, alone, an open bottle of Jack as well as a glass on the table and the radio on. She walked towards the kitchen wanting to have a conversation with him about his daughter, she sat down in front of him. "Taker, can I tell you about Lona?" She asked looking at him drinking his glass of Jack.
He doesn't say anything but stares with a drunken look and the annoyance begins to show on his face. "I had a little chat with Lona and...really, she really needs her dad." She says with a sad look wanting him to understand that his daughter is not well and wants her daddy but Taker does not answer, he remains in his thoughts and eats as if there is no one else in the room. "She told me about her mother and her brother, it's hard to get divorced and to be separated from those you love, but you shouldn't get away from her. All she wants is is spending time with you." She said calmly trying to explain things to him but she didn't notice the change in Taker's gaze when she started talking about Lona's mother and brother, his gaze became mean mingled with pain.
Suddenly he gets up and throws his glass against the wall which explodes into a thousand pieces, making Lini scream who was very scared this time. "First! It's none of your business! Second! What do you know about my fucking life?! Nothing! Don't talk to me about her mother and brother again!! They're gone! It's is all! with that!" he shouted before heading upstairs, leaving Lini curled up in her chair in the kitchen. She puts her hand in front of her mouth, crying with fear, she saw the Taker he was before. But why does he react like this? She thought.
