Tease Me, Bella Beatrice

Prologue:

It's maybe just a glitch when you fall for a person twice or it is just maybe you really did not fall out of love in the first place. I am a famous writer. I write fantasy stories commonly mixed with a hint of romance. A best-selling published author for the last ten years even just being twenty-five right now.

Yes, I wrote best-selling masterpieces at the age of fifteen and it is basically my job now.

"So, hindi mo pa pala ako nakakalimutan?" Napatingala ako sa babaeng nag-abot sa akin ng nakabukas na libro at iginigiya para pirmahan ko.

Napalinga naman ako sa paligid para tingnan kung ako ba ang kinakausap niya. Binigyan niya ako ng reaksyong halata ang hindi pagkatuwa. I am in a coffee shop reading a newspaper and suddenly this woman come up to me.

"Excuse me?"

"Come on, Pierce. Don't ignore me."

"Pierce? Do you know me?" I am surprised when instead of her getting nervous or so, she sat next to me.

Hindi naman agad ako makagalaw at makapagreact nang hawakan niya ang kamay ko at ilagay ang dala niyang ballpen. She guided me on getting her book signed.

"See? Napakadali lang." She said habang tinitingnan ang pirma ko sa libro niya.

"Are you crazy?" I asked her confused.

Tumango naman siya at tumawa pa. Inakbayan ako at hindi ko namalayan ang labi niya sa may tainga ko. Mayamaya pa ay namamalayan ko na ang mahina niyang pagbulong sa akin.

"I have been called worse names than that on our bed, chuchu." She said.

My senses do not feel like normal. Hanggang sa makaalis siya sa tabi ko ay wala akong reaksyon kung hindi ang manatiling nagtataka. Only one woman calls me that way and I confirmed it when she waved me the same book she let me sign involuntarily. I cursed inside my head.

"Tease Me, Bella Beatrice." It is what the book title says and left me hanging.

There's no way she's back. The same woman whose story is beautifully written in every single pages of that same book she's holding. The only romance novel I wrote when she broke me. The same story we both created.

"Bella." I whispered. "There's no way she's back to tease me again."
