Bumalikwas naman ako ng bangon. I even sighed as the sunrise come up to my face. Hindi naman iyon ganoon katindi ngunit ayaw ko lang na inaabot ako ng sikat ng araw sa kama.

"No." I calmly said. "Let my readers' imagination stay as it is. Sisirain lang ng production at mga pipitsuging artista ang libro ko."

"It is a demand, Pierce. You have thirty-five million followers alone in your Instagram and the production will be done internationally or kahit saan mo gusto. The English translated book will be the script and you are to co-direct but if you want it to be done as it is, we can do that. They are basically begging us for your permission. This will be another milestone, Pierce."

Nakarinig ako ng pagbuntong-hininga mula sa kaniya sa kabilang linya pero hindi ko iyon pinansin. I just looked at the wall clock nearby. It's just eight in the morning yet the sun is up that high.

"Decline it." I said and cut the call.

Itinapon ko sa kama ang cellphone ko saka dumiresto na sa aking kadalasang ginagawa sa umaga. The normal morning routines. Freshen up my body and a good sip of tea. Half an hour of meditation after my thirty-minute exercise and after that is my healthy breakfast while re-reading the words I wrote last night for me to edit. So far, so good. Nakikita kong maganda ang kahahantungan ng librong ito. I have so many ideas inside my mind that I am putting in smoothly inside the substances of the book. I am quite proud of myself this morning. I read some of the comments from the last chapters I have posted last day.

"Tangina papawasak ako kay pierceparadox."

I had a smile reading the comment with the most likes and replies. pierceparadox is my pen name. It is just basically the first name that come up to my mind the first time I started writing and I basically didn't have the chance to change it since I got famous three months after my first try of writing. I basically did not have a choice but to stick to it.

"Your books are overhyped tho it is not that good."

 

"Sir beke nemen pwede me ekeng eneken."

 

"I'm just a hole, Pierce Zurita."

"Sometimes I wish I'm pierceparadoxs laptop so he can stare at me for hours. Damn he is so hot! I wanna melt!"

"Dami nating kaaway dito dzai. Dami magaling mag-english na fans ni bebe."

I smiled and stopped for a second. Sandali akong nag-isip bago tumipa sa laptop. I replied a period on the last comment. Sometimes, I like trolling with them. I just replied at that comment and basically, I told the commentator to "Die, then". Not that I literally meant it that way, I just like them having a debate on even a single comma as a comment from me. I do have a little bit of hates about my attitude but yeah, it is fun that way. I like seeing them getting frustrated about me not giving them the pieces of me they want. And it is somehow relaxing. Satisfying I may say.
