Ch-36 : fat?

Juno: We're each other's accomplices.

Chan: Uh-uh, I'm not helping or encouraging you to commit crime.

Juno: Yeah, you're right. That's Yoonmin. Umm Alpha is my henchman.

Chan: ...

Juno: It's true. You're my helper, protector and my sidekick.

Chan: Sidekick?

Juno: The Queen and her Alpha.

Seungmin: That would make a great romance novel.

Hyunjin: The Queen and her Alpha! I'll start taking writing lessons so I can write a book on this.

You gave him a side glance and went to get some oats for breakfast.

Changbin: Nope, no oats. It's low in calories. Eat granola instead. We have training later.

Juno: But it's Saturday.

Chan: Which means we get extra time to train.

You sighed and looked for granola and found them on the top shelf. You went to grab a chair.

Yoonmin: What are you doing?

Juno: Some dumbfuck put the granola on the top shelf.

Hyunjin: Chan put it there.

Juno: Well, too bad whoever this Chan is doesn't think about the underprivileged. Ya'll need to move so I can move this chair there.

Minho: It requires moving and none of us are doing it. Why don't you ask the person who caused the inconvenience to get it down for you?

You just lifted the chair over your head and tried to move forward.

Seungmin: Yo, keep that down. It's a heavy wooden chair. You'll hurt yourself or worse break the chair.

You put the chair back and tried to climb the counter.

Seungmin: Don't climb on the counter! We keep food there!

Juno: Then what do you want me to do, Hermoine?

Minho: Just ask us.

Juno: Yoonmin?

Yoonmin: Sis, I ain't even here. I'm hallucination.

Juno: Oh, come on! Put your giraffe skills to use!

Yoonmin: You see I was going to help you if you hadn't said that.

Juno: Oh c'mon! Changbin, you don't want to be late for training, do you? Can you get it for me?

Chan stood up and handed you the granola.

Chan: Finish breakfast and get ready for training. We will have to work more today.

You grabbed a bowl and started eating your granola cereal with milk after sitting next to Changbin.

Chan: All of you have to be there too, for evaluating her skills.

Minho: What about Yoonmin?

Chan: I know pretty much all about his skills. He's pretty good and can catch up to us in a few days. But we have no clue about Juno's skills yet. Yesterday we saw she couldn't even last against Snow. We all know everyone here is way stronger than Snow and most other people in the pack and academy.

You and Yoonmin exchanged a glance.

Minho: What will be doing today? Combat again? Combat with weapons?

Chan: You'll see.

You got dressed after breakfast and all of you went to the special training grounds. This place was even more secluded than the one you were at the previous day. Chan told you to stand in front of him at a distance.

Chan: Today, I want to see your wolf.

Juno: You mean me in my wolf form?

Chan: That too and later I want you to let your wolf out.

Juno: Uh...

Felix: What's your wolf's name?

Juno: Look don't laugh but my wolf doesn't have a name. Well, she does have a name but it's the exact same name I have. So, my wolf's name is Juno. But I call her Jun to avoid confusion and it's easy to say.

Hyunjin: Are you sure you have a wolf? Or is it that you're able to shift but you don't have a wolf inside of you?

Juno: I thought the same at first when I got to know her. Kids bullied me thinking I was a human and that I was lying about having a wolf. Sometimes it really feels that way because she is very much like me.

Chan: We'll figure it out. First, I need you to shift.

You did as you were told and shifted into your wolf form.

Jisung: You're a coyote?

Changbin: No, she's just a red wolf.

Hyunjin: Red wolves don't look like this. They are a bit skinnier.

Changbin: You think coyotes are not skinny?

 Hyunjin: I'm sure I'm not allowed to touch but her fur looks way thicker than that of a red wolf.

Seungmin: Of course, you're not allowed to touch. But I agree with you.

Juno: Are you calling me fat?!? 

Chan: Royals can't possibly be red wolves.

Juno: Okay, stop hating on red wolves.

Chan: I'm not hating on red wolves. But royals were made the strongest so they could protect the other wolves. And the strongest are the grey Mackenzie wolves. Most royals were grey wolves.

Juno: Yeah, I know. All of my family members were grey wolves. So are Yoonmin and my mom.

Chan: What about your father? He was a royal too. One of the strongest out there.

Juno: I didn't know about my father himself a few days ago. How would I know about his wolf?

Felix: Seungmin, does she really look like a red wolf to you?

Seungmin: Not really. I had my doubts but what you and I are thinking is not possible.

Felix: Damon Wang couldn't have stopped the war single handedly if he was a red wolf. There were many strong grey wolves there. He might be able to take down a few but even that would've cost him all his energy.

Hyunjin: What if she is not his daughter?

You shifted back and stood up.

Seungmin: Just because you think she is a red wolf you're assuming we have the wrong person?

Hyunjin: No offense Juno, but isn't she supposed to be the queen? She doesn't even have the average strength required to be in the special forces let alone be in the council.

Juno: Are we going to stay silent?

Yoonmin: I'm thinking. You're the alpha so you can't hide it for long especially after you start growing. Now that you're eighteen, it won't take your wolf long to grow fully.

Juno: But will they believe us?

Yoonmin: We can show them your strength.

Juno: What if they get scared and consider me dangerous?

Felix: Juno, are you a red wolf?

Juno: To be honest I'm not sure about myself and neither is Jun. We both are confused too.

Chan: Yoonmin, what was the wolf of the Wang clan?

Yoonmin: You'll believe me?

Chan: I'll try my best.
