Ch-48 : Source

Chan stared at your sleeping face. You weren't actually what he thought you were when he first met you. The boys were right. You looked mean and rude on the outside but were all soft on the inside. 

At first he didn't like the way you spoke to people but now, he realized that even though you might not show it, you really cared. Things were slowly starting to make sense.  You didn't feel like the daughter of a person who waged a war which of course wasn't your identity. You were your own person. Maybe he did judge you too quickly after all. Maybe he can get to know you slowly. He did have a lot of time now since you would be around him like 24x7.

He closed his eyes in an attempt to sleep but all he saw were scary faces and gruesome things happening. He opened his eyes panting, a thin layer of sweat already covering his forehead. He was really scared and the dark room wasn't helping. 

While he laid there trying to catch his breath his eyes landed on you. You looked so peaceful and calm when you were sleeping. He remembered how he snuggled in your neck while training. It felt warm and safe. It would definitely help him calm down if he felt that comfort. You guys weren't close so hugging you all of a sudden felt a bit inappropriate to him. 

Chris: She's our mate. Just take her.

Chan: That's creepy-

Chris: Oh we'll wake up before her anyways.

Chan hesitated but eventually gave in. He scooted close to you and wrapped his arms around your waist  carefully pulling you to him. He slowly rested his head on your neck. Your sudden movement frightened him, making him scared of having woken you up, but the fear vanished when you wrapped your arms around his neck resuming your sleep. A small smile tugged at his lips. He let your warmth wash over him and soon fell asleep.

Un/Fortunately, when morning arrived, everyone had woken up except you two since you were the last ones to sleep.

*whispers*

Jisung: I always thought Chan would be the big spoon.

Minho: Juno is the stronger alpha.

Hyunjin: Chan is bigger in terms of size.

Jeongin: Anyone can be the little spoon or the bigger spoon regardless of their size, age, height, qualifications, position in the society-

Seungmin: Shut it! You've been hanging out with Juno a bit too much.

Yoonmin: My baby sis is growing up. *wipes fake tears and takes a pic to tease you later*

Changbin: What's actually going on between these two? First, we found them on top of each other and now they're cuddling. Are they secretly dating without telling us?

Felix: Let's ask them the first thing as soon as they wake up. When you have just woken up you can't think of any quick lies.

Jisung: Good idea! But when are they going to wake up?

Minho: Okay, four of us stay on guard in the living room while the others can freshen up. We'll take turns.

Seungmin: Agents! This is your first patrol! I expect you to do your best!

You two didn't wake up even after the boys were done with their morning routines. Currently they were all watching you like hawks while gossiping about what could be going on between you two . 

You started waking up slowly after enjoying a wonderful sleep. Somehow, it felt extra comfortable, so much that you didn't want to wake up. You felt this weird warmth radiating from somewhere but you couldn't pin-point the source. You opened your eyes and the source surprised you.
