Ch-18 : Which bed?

Awkward silence filled the room. You looked at Yoonmin who folded his arms and gave you his judgy stare again.

Juno: ...

Yoonmin: You just pulled a full-on Sasuke on us.

You couldn't help but chuckle.

Juno: Well, I didn't kill you, elder brother.

Jeongin: Dark humor? I don't get it.

Yoonmin: I knew that I was the person who inherited all of the braincells of our ancestors but I expected you to at least have 3.

Juno: Oh, says the one who stuck a metal fork in the toaster.

Yoonmin: That was years ago!

Juno: You're a tech major.

Jisung: I know right, tech majors can be so stupid. Hyunjin put a plastic container in the microwave once.

Juno: Dude, seriously?

Hyunjin: In my defense, I didn't know it would melt.

Yoonmin: C'mon dude, heat melts plastic. It's as simple as it is.

Juno: You're the one to talk. You put a thermo water bottle in the fridge and complained how the water was still warm. So, in conclusion my three braincells work better than all of yours together.

Yoonmin: I-

Changbin: Are your legs fine now?

Juno: They hurt a bit, but it should be fine by tomorrow. Thanks for asking.

Jeongin: How did they heal so fast?

Yoonmin: One of the abilities of royals. Their bodies heal really fast in comparison to others.

Jisung: What about you?

Yoonmin: My healing abilities are not as good as hers but it's still better than others.

Seungmin: Alpha?

Chan: Yeah?

Seungmin: Sorry, I meant to call Alpha Juno.

Juno: Dude, don't call me that.

Seungmin: But you are the alpha.

Juno: You don't call Chan "alpha" all the time. Just call me Juno.

Seungmin: Shouldn't I call you Queen though?

Juno: You're really testing my patience, Seungmin.

Seungmin: Ayee, the Queen is mad?

You laughed realising he used the same words and tone you used on Chan before.

Juno: Come here.

He started running away as you chased him around the living room. It was Seungmin's way of making people comfortable around him.

Changbin: Hey, Hey, Hey! You can chase each other later. First Juno needs to eat food.

You stopped in your tracks.

Juno: Did you say food?

Changbin: Yeah, we just ordered pizza.

Juno: Great!

Jeongin: Wait!

You turned to Jeongin waiting for him to speak.

Jeongin: Who is going to share rooms with Juno?

Juno: You don't have a spare room?

Minho: We have 9 rooms and all of them are taken as you can see.

Jeongin: Juno! Let's be roommates.

Juno: Didn't you say you were intimidated by me?

Jeongin: Yeah, but now that I know you a bit more, it looks like it would be fun having someone of my age around.

Juno: Okay, it's fine with me.

Felix: But you only have one bed.

Minho: All of us have only one bed.

Juno: It's okay the couch won't be pretty bad.

Hyunjin: ExCusE Me? We can't let our alpha queen sleep on the couch!

Juno: I never said I was sleeping on the couch. I meant one of you.

Yoonmin: I call dibs on my bed! May one of you have fun sleeping on the couch.

Minho: Seungmin, don't you think as the beta you should let your alpha use the bed?

Seungmin: You're right, I'll let her use your bed. You can sleep on the couch.

Jeongin: Or we can just use my bed. It's big enough. We'll keep pillows in between. We're just trying to take rest so it doesn't matter.

Juno: You're not wrong.

Felix: Or the person who doesn't sleep can sacrifice their bed.

Felix grinned at his perfect idea.

Juno: And who doesn't sleep Felix? I'm sure everyone needs a good night's rest after today's events.

Hyunjin: Well, Chan doesn't sleep. He's insomniac.

Juno: Damn! I cannot relate.

Yoonmin: You both are really the weirdest mate pair I've ever seen. One is an insomniac and the other is a hypersomniac.

Juno: I'm not hypersomniac, I just sleep a lot. It's two different things.

Yoonmin: Well, you can fall asleep anywhere and everywhere so.

Juno: When you're good at something you can do it almost anywhere and everywhere.

Felix: Then it's done, Juno will take Chan's room.

Changbin: I guess we completely forgot that you had been running for hours in the forest, Juno. Do you want to take a shower first?

Juno: That sounds good. Yoon, can you lend me your clothes?

Yoonmin: About that... I don't have my clothes with me either.

Juno: uh oh...

Felix: Juno, what's your favorite color?

Juno: I like three colors. Peach, red and black.

Felix: Perfect! Chan's wardrobe is filled with black clothes. He will lend you some.

Juno: Felix I don't think that's a-

Felix: Let's go, I'll show you his room so that you can take a shower.

He started softly pushing you towards Chan's room before you could protest. He showed you the bathroom and told you to take anything that you wanted from the wardrobe. Before you could say anything, he was gone. You sighed and went to take a shower.
