Chan realised you knew. You knew all along......

Flashback:

Chan was standing with Snow who claimed she had something to tell him. By the nervousness and blush on her face he assumed she must've found her mate. But he was taken aback when she confessed instead.

Snow: Channie, I'll be always thankful to you. You've always been there for me and you've been the bestest of a friend anyone could ever ask for. I love you, Channie. I know you're my mate and feel so estatatic at being the one for you. 

Before Chan could process what was going on she pressed her lips on his. And at that moment your eyes found them. You never knew that a mere act of someone kissing would make you lose all the strength in your body. Your arms lost their strength making the drinks fall from your hands. You immediately went home after that not wanting to see more and make a fool of yourself.

That night Chan lay wide awake on his bed staring at the ceiling. He kept thinking about what happened at the party. Snow confessed and kissed him. It took him a while to realise what was going on and push her away as he was in shock. He explained her how he never felt that way as he watched her ask for one chance to prove herself. But he knew no matter how much she tries he would never feel the way a certain someone made him feel.

There was a time he when he considered making Snow the luna because he was willing to do anything for the pack. But that was before he met you. He never felt those sparks around anyone before, even though he tried. But the way you made him feel complete was enough for him to realise that you were meant for him. The more he stayed around you made him realise that you were also perfect for the pack unlike what he used to think. He was scared and hoped that no one saw what happened, especially you.

He knew Snow must be hurt but he couldn't help it. He also couldn't tell her that you were his mate because at that moment Felix rushed to him interrupting him and informed him about what happened. It made him forget everything and worry about you. So, he rushed out of there to see for himself that you were fine. Sooner or later, he would have to break the news to Snow, but right now he cared about your well-being more.

He contemplated if he should tell you about what happened but decided against it as he didn't want to make you upset after all that you did to make sure his special day went well.

The next morning you woke up groggy and did your best to avoid Chan. When you entered the kitchen, everyone worriedly asked you about your health.

Juno: I'm fine.

You managed to say weakly even though you tried your best to sound like your usual self. It didn't go unnoticed by the others as they exchanged worried glances especially Chan who stared at you in worry about your health.

Bong Cha: Juno? You sound weak.

Her tone was gentle and laced with worry.

Juno: I'm fine. Trust me. Should they really, when you're clearly lying?

Yoonmin: Are you drinking enough water?

Juno: Yes, I am drinking enough water.

Jisung: Any pain in your body or weakness?

Juno: I'm fine, Jisung. No weakness, no pain. No pain.

Your tone was stern making them stop asking about it. The day went on by normally but they all noticed how you spoke less and tried to drown yourself in work. That was how you avoided thinking about the incident. You thought you didn't care and even though you knew that mate rejection hurts you didn't expect it to affect you this much when you weren't even actually rejected, yet. You avoided their questions and kept saying that you were fine. They knew something was wrong but none of them could pin-point the reason of your behaviour. What could've possibly happened?
