*Megumi's POV*

When I closed the living room door, I felt a sharp smack on my left cheek. My entire body lost its balance and I fell to my right. I felt blood on my lip and when I put my left hand on my left cheek, it was numb.

It did not stop there. Mitsuki pulled the ends of my hair, dragged me closer to him, and slapped me once more, as hard as he could, and on my right cheek this time. My body fell over once more and I felt blood form in my mouth.

"I don't know what you're talking about." I said softly, still looking down.

Mitsuki looked at her with disgust and loudly said,
"PACK YOUR BAGS AND NEVER COME BACK. FROM NOW ON, I DO NOT WANT TO SEE YOUR FACE AGAIN. FROM NOW ON, YOU ARE NO LONGER MY SISTER. YOU TOOK MY HAPPINESS AWAY. YOU ARE A MONSTER. YOU PIECE OF SHIT."

He stood up, walked to his bedroom and slammed the door.

I bit my lip as hard as I could, and tried my best to stop the tears from falling. I stood up, my legs are still shaking. I went to my bedroom and took the only thing that's important.

I hugged the frame in my chest. I looked at Mitsuki's door and thought of saying goodbye but I didn't. I continued my way to the living room and took a good look of the apartment for the last time.

When I stepped out of the corridor, I saw Kakashi. He was looking at me with worried eyes. He is standing against the wall with his hands in his pockets.

I looked down and hugged the frame tighter as I felt my body become weak. Before I know it, I was already in Kakashi's arms and my mind drifted to sleep.

*Kakashi's POV*

I laid her down on my bed and changed her undergarments and wet anbu uniform to my shirt and pants. Her body looked so small in my clothes.

I gave her body a sponge bath and gently wiped away the blood on her mouth. I dabbed her cheeks with a clean warm towel with a bit of soap. Her cheeks are still bright red from the incident.

I woke up at the middle of the night. I turned to my left and right but Megumi is nowhere to be found. I sat up on the bed and found her on the floor, hugging her legs close to her chest with her face burried to her knees.

"Megumi..." I called her name and to my surprise, she slowly looked up to me with a blank stare.

Her cheeks now swollen and have some bruises, while her eyes are puffy.

I did not know what to say, so I remained silent. She burried her face into her knees again and started to silently sob.

I noticed that her body started to shake, so I sat on the floor with my back against the bed, slowly pulled her arm towards me, placing her in between my legs, and I gently put her head on my chest.
