Knock. Knock.

"Hey," Comet called from outside the car. Given was inside, trying to calm herself down.

While they were on the road earlier, she suddenly started crying and Comet immediately pulled up thinking about what happened. He was panicking and handing out all the tissues he had in the car to help Given wipe her tears away but it seemed to be not enough.

"Can you ano..."

"Yes? Yes? What can I do for you?"

Given chuckled and wiped her clogged nose. "Don't panic, I feel so guilty! I just wanted to like ask you to get out of the car muna? I mean, I know this is yours and..."

Comet breathed deeply to calm himself down. "Okay, okay. I thought you were in pain or something."

"No naman, don't worry na please."

"Yeah. So, I'll just get out so you'll be able to calm down. I don't know what happened but I'll give the privacy that you need. Cry all you want or calm yourself down, do whatever. Call me when you're done or I'll knock na lang."

Given nodded. "Okay. Thank you so much."

Comet smiled and without any words, got himself out of the car to let Given cry on her own.

And it has been exactly 45 minutes since he stepped out. He heard Given crying, even though muffled, and he wanted to console her by giving her a hug or back rubs but they weren't close enough yet for him to do that so he just did what she asked him to do. Maybe someday, he will have the chance to comfort her like that.

"Are you okay now? Can I come in na? I brought water," Comet said in his most gentle voice.

"Come here naaa, I'm uhaw!"

Comet chuckled and bit his lower lip. Given is just too cute for him to handle.

"Comet, bilis na! I am uhaw!"

"Coming!"

With a single deep breath, Comet opened the car door and hopped inside only to find Given with puffy eyes. He became worried again and wanted to say something but he stopped himself and just handed the water to Given.

"Here, drink na. And crying makes us hungry so eat the takeout dinner I bought na rin earlier while I drive. If you want to take a nap after, there's a blanket at the back. Use it so you won't be cold."

Given hummed while listening to Comet since she was drinking the water already. She definitely feels better now especially because of how caring the man she's with tonight is. She feels like she could cry all day and he'll be just there to give her water and food and space.

After drinking, Given just placed the bottled water in front of her and thought of grabbing the food from the back but Comet already gave it to her and even opened it for her.

"You should eat a lot so when we reach the center, all you're left to do is grab your sleep. I have the blanket here so just tell me when you're done eating so I'll give this to you."

Given smiled. "Thank you, Comet."

Comet just nodded and started the car already, happy to have Given beside him. Before, he only drove alone to the center but now, he has her beside him, even though he isn't sure as to how long will this set up be.

Well at least, for tonight he has a company.
