I don't know if the letter already reached you but if it hasn't, I want to tell you the main content of it.
You're probably thinking that everytime I see you, there is only pain because you resemble your Mom a lot and I might have a hard time if we will be together.
But it's not like that, Given.
Everytime I see you, what I remember is how much I like you. The moments we've shared back in the center, or when we grabbed ice cream and potatoes together, or when we went to the church, when you talked to the elderly, when you played with the kids, when we went out to see the beach, and when I confessed to you. All I see is you, Given Eloise. Hindi ang Mommy mo o ang nakaraan.
Hindi na natin mababago 'yong mga nangyari pero pwede pa nating pagtuunan ng pansin 'yong kung anong meron tayo ngayon, kasi mahalaga sa'kin 'to. Mahalaga ka sa'kin.
So for now, go ahead and take your time but if ever you want to see me already, you know where to find me. Kapag pumunta ka ro'n, pangako andoon ako at naghihintay sa'yo.
This would be my last message for now. Take care of yourself, little potato. Babawi na lang ako kapag pwede na kitang lapitan, kausapin, at samahan ulit. Aalagaan kita ulit, kapag maayos ka na.
