Miss Given Yap,
Today was fun. We got to meet each other's friends and bonded with them. Even though you cried a lot because of Paulene, you also smiled quite a lot and rather than the sight of you tearing up, the happy Given Eloise was my favorite ones.
I smiled when you played with the kids, when you teased Cardan and Argela along with the rest of our friends teasing them, when you ate, when you talked to the staff and even to Sister Analie. You just looked so free and it was a beautiful sight to behold.
I hope you will always have that kind of smile in you. It suits you.
And, uhm, I didn't expect that hug but thank you, I guess? I thought of that as you finding comfort in me and I am honored like that. I hope you will always be comfortable around me. I don't mean that you should always hug me but I hope you'll smile around me a lot and be the happiest version of yourself.
I don't know your story other than what I witnessed when you first came here but I will wait until the time when you will be ready to share everything with me. I will always be ready for you, Given.

Miss Given Yap,
You are amazing. That's the first thing that came to my mind earlier when we were out in town, exploring the whole place and talking to the people. I am certain this is not the kind of environment you grew up in but seeing how you tried your best to communicate with the people I love and respect was admirable. Thank you, Given.
The elderlies liked you and the vibes you gave. Who wouldn't? Kahit naman ako masaya lagi kapag kasama ka. You just have the kind of energy that will pull people to fall in love with you and the biggest and kindest heart that you have.
Your existence is something that this world needs. Thank you for being here.
And I do hope you had fun today. Let's talk to the elderlies again whenever we have time. Thank you for shopping groceries as well. I appreciate you and everything you do for the Center. Stay for as long as you want and you'll always have us here with you.
