Eros' mini conversation with Given was cut off when a young woman who was wearing the uniform of the Adoption Center called him over. It was time for them to have their morning classes.

It was a rule in this center set up by the founder. Analie told Given this morning that a certain Comet Leander Silva was the one who put up this center together with two of his best friends. One of his rules was to give the children proper education because as per him,"Not because they're orphans, they shouldn't be educated anymore."

It honestly brought a warm feeling inside Given's heart. She thought that whoever this Comet was, he had a nice character. He was compassionate and it was something that Given was fond of.

"Given, hija."

Given looked up and saw her tita Analie approaching her with that usual warm smile that she carries around the kids and the staff of the center.

"Tita," Given acknowledged her tita with the same warm smile. She had it rough last night but waking up to the kids made her feel so much better.

"I see you talked with Eros. Kumusta naman ang batang 'yon?" Analie took a seat beside Given and the latter moved sidewards to give her enough space.

"Hmm," Given heaved a sigh. "Okay naman po siya? He kidded around saying he's gonna court me when he grows up."

A small chuckle left both of their lips. Analie, because she knew Eros too well, and Given, because she found the kid cute.

"He says that to every beautiful lady he meets for the first time but actually, his eyes are set on one girl only," Analie said afterwards.

Given's eyes grew wide, and her mouth went slightly agape when she heard what her tita Analie told her, seriously surprised.

"Kanino naman nakaset ang attention niya, tita? I think he's too young for that."

Analie gently pointed a finger towards a little girl who was wearing a pink dress, and sucking on a lollipop that Eros himself gave her.

"That is Psyche. Literal na sabay silang lumaki dahil ang kwentong naipasa sa akin ng dating head dito, sabay silang natagpuan sa labas noong tatlong taon pa lang sila. Sabay silang iniwan ng mga magulang nila at noong malaki na sila at maiintindihan na ang lahat, ipinasa sa kanila ang impormasyon na 'yon. Magmula no'n, hindi na nila iniwan ang isa't isa but more like, Eros never left Psyche's side anymore."

Given was left in awe when she heard of the story. Naisip niyang may mga tao pa pala talagang mabibigat din ang pinagdadaanan sa buhay. What she went through with her family was hard but thinking about how Eros and Psyche grew up in this place because their parents left them at such a young age broke her heart.

Her reverie was cut off when Analie placed a hand on her shoulder. "Now that you've decided to be here, don't think too much. Magiging maayos din ang lahat, anak."

Given pressed her lips together to form a smile. Analie did the same and went on to do her duties already. Naiwan si Given sa labas na maraming iniisip.

And right at that moment, Comet came in and saw her in deep thought. Before coming here, he only planned to give his gifts to the kids but now that he's here, he wants to stay for a while.

It's his scheduled visitation, anyway.
