You're one of a kind, is something I hear a lot. Most out of the guilt from people, because I am adopted. Walking into the elders home, hand in hand with Jacob as Billy rolled in front of us.
"Hi gorgeous." The elder lady smiled at me. "What's going on Billy?"
"Our sweet Hope... something is going on with her." Billy gave a brief description.
"Come sit with us, dear." She offered me her hand, looking to Jake. He gave me a reassured nod, taking the elders hand. I sat down in front of her, she had my palms open. Observing them, she narrowed her eye brows down at my palms. "Shall we let the ritual begin?"
Across town, from La Push. The Cullen manner blew up in confusion, chasing around Alice as she ran around the manner in a panic. Searching through books rapidly.
"What do you mean, that Bella's sister is the devil?" Esme questioned.
"When I touched her, I felt her power. It's strongest thing I have ever felt, her bloodline isn't human. I just know it, I have an idea of what she is. I just have to find it-." Alice begun as thuds of books hit the floor, she smiled as she found what she was looking for. The page showed drawings of a creature, not human.
"What's this?" Carlisle approached.
"This is what I saw, this is what Hope is." Alice exclaimed at the top of her lungs.
"What do you see?" Jake asked the elder.
"You're... you're one of a kind." The elder begun, smelling the smoke in the room heavy. I coughed into my elbow. "You're not human." She looked at me shocked.
"What do you mean?" I questioned her in a panic, I rushed to my feet. I looked to Billy. "What does she mean?"
"I thought you were only a legend, now... tell me what was the first sign?" The elder looked to Billy.
"Earth." Billy filled her in, rushing over to Jake. My breath picked up rapidly, like a panic attack was coming.
"What's going on dad?" Jake demanded.
"You're what they call, a Tribrid my dear. You're the only one of your kind." The elder explained, my legs collapsing under me, Jake fell down with me.
"What's a tribrid?" Jake questioned on behalf of us.
"It's someone who is part witch, wolf and vampire. The witch part has surfaced, I am assuming from Bella stirring her up. Emotion." The elder explained, looking up to Jake. He held me tight into his chest, finally understanding why I was welcome into the tribe. With Jakes bloodline coming from wolves, it all came to a connecting point.
