"She's the first of her kind, with a terrifying amount of power. She's one of natures loop holes, there has been so much pain and death to keep her alive. Her blood isn't human." - Alice Cullen.
"So I assume Leah joined the pack after Harry died?" I questioned Jacob as we walked side by side. Taking the motorcycle to his 'parking spot' for it.
"Yeah, so did Seth. He's only 15, one of the youngest we've had. Sam keeps him home, studying. But he's chomping at the bit. Wished it was Leah who would stay home." I gave him a playful punch to the arm.
"Come on, don't be such a guy." Jake smiled at my response.
"No, it's not a chick thing. It's like a triangle thing, we all have to live the sam, Emily and Leah pain fest. Wolf telepathy, remember?" He explained.
"Whoa! So, Sam dumped Leah...for Emily?" I questioned.
"Yeah, we'll go with that. Sam hates himself for hurting Leah. Emily was... the one." He said as I nodded.
"Going to be interesting how I cope with all the wolf things, when I change." I commented, pushing the dream of him and I again away.
"It's more then some crush, Hope." Jacob begun, as we got closer to the barn. "He imprinted on Emily."
"Haven't heard that one yet." I placed my hands into my back pockets. Him giving me a head gesture, we headed into the barn. Where he kicked down the stand for the bike to rest, he placed his hands down on the bike as he looked at me across the barn. Where I sat on a double pile of hay bales.
"Imprinting on someone, is like..." He started, looking away from me. Giving a small smile. "When you see her, everything changes. All of a sudden it's not gravity holding you to the planet, it's her. Nothing else matters." His eyes looked back up and joined mine, his eyes went soft... it was kinda... beautiful. "You would do anything, be anything for her." I gulped.
"Sounds like you know the feeling?" I questioned. "You probably imprinted on Bella, hey?" I tried to joke, he smiled as he shook his head.
"Not even close." He looked away. "I just have a direct line to Sams thoughts."
"So for now? You're still you?" He looked back at me, him smiling once again.
"And you're still you."

Only imagining what sort of things, Jacob has heard in Sams head about me. About how me becoming the Tribrid will change the supernatural world, I smiled at my friend. "Yeah... has Sam said anything about, me? With becoming the Tribrid?" I asked.
"Just how incredibly powerful you are becoming." He walked over to me, stopping in his tracks as I said.
"I've been thinking." He raised an eyebrow.
"Uh oh." He commented, playfully punching him again.
"I have been thinking, so I can help the pack more. I have been researching some spells that can help me activate the Tribrid side quicker-." Jacob soon cut me off.
"No way." His voice rose. "You're not doing that." He took a step back.
"Jacob, if I can activate my wolf side and then get a close host. Who can help me stop my heart, so I activate the-." In a fit of quick built up rage, Jacob picked up a spanner he threw it across the barn.
"You had a chat in Edwards head? Didn't you?" I gasped. "Before you ask, sam was talking about how you can talk in other telepathic peoples head, it's a witch thing.. apparently. What did he say?"
"Said that his family, could help with it." Watching him take deep and heavy breaths, I regretted saying anything at all. Knowing how touchy he is with the vampires as so am I.
"You're not becoming one of them, not- not until you have even lived. Or, before I could..." He walked around, in a circle. Stopping in front of me. "Just for a second, just for a second. I thought, you were only on my side-." I looked at him with disappointment, standing my ground as I cut him off.
"Hey! You know that I am always on your side." I walked towards him, poking his chest. "So don't you dare say I am one of them." I gritted my teeth. Him dropping his guard in front of me, he dropped his shoulders. Along with his head.
"I'm so sorry." He said softly, taking my hands in his. Settling his breathing rate, I looked down at our hands. "Please, forgive me." He brought me into a hug, wrapping his arms around me. He placed a kiss upon my head.
I knew he cared, cared too much. So much his protective side gets the better of him, making him come out with a lot of crap. Crap that hurt people and he doesn't realise. Which made me fear, the day I activate my werewolf side. Will be fine... but the day the vampire side gets activated. Made me anxious, I didn't want to lose him and I didn't want the pack to banish me either. Is becoming the most powerful creature to ever live, really worth it?
