The orphan. That's what I was originally, 15 years ago when on a cold winters night; multiple days before Christmas, I was welcomed with open arms into a small family in Forks. A small town covered with clouds, population of 3,120 people. My name is Hope Swan, the little sister of Bella Swan.
A few years ago our parents split, our mum headed to Phoenix where she met a new guy quite quickly. Bella followed along with her, I stayed with Charlie. Our dad. I know what you must be thinking, 'oh, how cute! Staying with your dad!' But in true reality, I didn't want to leave my friend. Jacob Black.
Looking down at my phone as it pinged, I raised an eyebrow as Jacob laughed coming towards me. "What's wrong? You made a face." He nudged me, as he kicked the hay in the barn.
"Charlie... dad messaged me." I corrected myself.
"What's he saying?" He asked.
"Bella is apparently coming home today." I looked up at him.
"Thought she was coming next week?" He frowned, all I responded with was a shrug. Heading back to Jacobs place in La Push, we drove back to Forks to meet Charlie and Bella. Billy pulled the car up as I jumped out, rushing over to Charlie with open arms. We embraced into a tight hug, as I asked the main question.
"Is she here yet?" I questioned as I let him go.
"She's in her room we made up for her." Charlie notified me, looking over to Jake and Billy. I offered.
"I'm going to get a bottle of water, did you guys want one?"
"Yes please!" Jake smiled.
"I'm ok, thank you Hope." Billy smiled aswell.
"I'll be back." I headed inside, grabbing bottles of water from the fridge and placing the down in the main table in the kitchen. I smiled as I heard footsteps come down from the stairs, slowly turning around. I was greeted by my older sister smiling at me in awe.
"Get out!" She let out a huff.
"Hey." I smiled up at her.

Squealing as we embraced each other into a tight hug, she put me down and held my face. Observing every ounce of my features, she was gobsmacked. "No way you are this beautiful! You are so big now!" All I could do was laugh at her as we joined the guys outside, I passed the bottle to Jake as Billy smiled at us together.
"What a sight! Having the two Swan girls back together again, must be nice Charlie?" Billy looked to him.
"Be nice to have someone else opinion in the house, have you heard this stubborn little shit!" Charlie laughed, as I playfully punched his shoulder.
"Hey!" Everyone else laughed.
"Oh trust me, you don't know the half of it Charlie." My mouth dropped as I looked to my long haired friend, smelling the male musk around me. I put my hands up in surrender. Jake brought me into a side, he kissed the top of my head as I felt his warmth radiating off of his body. Bella's eyes caught on to Jake and I, she observed us interact. It lingered, you could smell the jealousy coming off of her.
"How do you like the truck?" Billy asked.
"What?" Bella's eyes scattered all around us.
"It's your welcome home present." Charlie patted the rusty orange truck.
"Are you serious?" She laughed with excitement, observing the truck fully. Jake followed and hoped into the passenger side to explain how the old girl runs. I looked over to my dad as he smiled to Billy, I knew he was happy to have Bella home. Things are going to be different for now on, having Bella around. I can feel it.
