Alliances for a common cause could always end in one of two ways, both side of the alliance growing closer or, both sides hating each other more.

Arriving at the meeting point in the forest, the pack and I creeped down the little incline all in wolf form. The Cullen family and Bella looked at all of us in awe.

Coming to a stop, Sam gave them a non threatening growl. I stood in between Sam and Jacob as Edward translated for us to everyone. "They don't trust us enough for them to be in their human forms." Carlisle looked at us all.

"They came." He begun. "That's what matters. Would you translate?" Carlisle and Edward stood forward. Bella looked to Jake and I, giving a small smile as this is her first time seeing me in my wolf form.

"Hey Hope, hey Jake." Sam snarling at us, hearing. Stay focused. Jake and I both apologised. I moved my paws under me, feeling the crunch of the leaves. If you couldn't tell, still getting use to the feeling of my pads and everything under me.

"Welcome." Carlisle started. "Jasper has experience with newborns. He can teach us how to defeat them."

"They want to know how the newborns are different from us." Edward said, translating what Sam asked.

"They're a great deal stronger then us. Because of their own human blood, still lingers in their tissues. Our kind, is never more physically powerful. Then in our first several months in this life." Carlisle looked to Jasper to take the stage.

"Carlisle is right." Jasper took where his adopted father figure stood. "That is why, they are created. A newborn army, doesn't need thousands like a human army. But, no human army can stand against them. The two most important things to remember are, first... never let them get their arms around you. They'll crush you, instantly. The second, never go for the obvious kill. They'll be expecting that...and you will lose." Jasper stood front onto Sam, he had some balls on him to get that close in that tone. Jasper spun around and called to Emmet. "Emmet!"

Watching Emmet and Jasper walk to an open space, squaring up to one another. It was entertaining, watching them go up against one another. Flipping and throwing each other about, the pairs changed over and over again. Observing the speed and strength that they easily have, I sighed heavily. Learning and taking notes of things I will have to learn when I become fully activated... if I have to.

Jasper gave advice with each pair fighting, such things as: don't lose focus, don't turn your back on your enemy. Sitting beside Sam, watching Jacob stare at Bella. I looked to Sam as he gave me a nudge with his head. Encouraging me to follow Jacob as he made his way to Bella. Jacob and I stood on either side of Bella, I stood stomach height as Jacob stood taller then her. We both leant into my sister, giving that hello tone. I looked up at Jake, saying to him. Why? All I got as a response was a growl.

"Some of you are going to get hurt." Bella started, Jacob and I turned our heads into my sister. Letting out low grunts. "Or even killed... because of me. I know you have a better chance of survival hope, with your power." Jake and I responded with a soft grunt as we all looked back towards everyone practicing. The smell of the dirt being kicked up was beautiful, it weirdly smelt refreshing. "It's going to be 100 times worse then this, right?" Looking up at Jacob, he lowered his head. Trying to comfort Bella as she scratched him in between his ears, spotting Edward walk towards us. I gave him a nod, walking around and nudging Edward away.

Walking off towards the hill we came down from, Sam stood there waiting for Jacob and I. Hopping over the large log at the bottom of the hill, we jogged up to Sam. We disappeared with the pack.
