"You're one of me?" I looked at him very confused, as he stood beside me. We leant against the bar in the place we were in, reaching over for beers. Drinking away as we pleased.
"Well, I was in transition when I died. That little witch that you killed and cemented into that pool, when I was looking for a feed. She staked me, straight through the heart. With a wood from a red oak." I narrowed my eyebrows at him, as I took a stood back.
"How did she get close enough?" I questioned. "Even with my werewolf and witch side, I am still to quick for any regular old witch." I raised an eyebrow at him.
"She was the love of my life, well... as I thought." He looked down at his drink. "Don't trust love little one." He begun as he took a sip. "It will get you killed."
"I'll note that, thank you." A sneaky bit of sarcasm came through my tone of voice. "But, why in all places. Are we in a bar, in New Orleans?" I asked as he placed a hand on my shoulder.
"This is where you are from, so am I. Both of us born in the birthplace of Jazz." He explained, as all I could respond with was.
"Eww."
"Your parents here, they died to save you. You're lucky that they found you to Charlie and your mother, but the sad thing is. That the big police adoptive daddy of yours, let your parents killer. Simply slip through his finger tips." I covered my mouth in shock, gasping for breath as he begun to walk around me once again. "But here you stand. Are you going to be reasonable like your father, or are you going to take care of business. Like me?"
Opening my eyes as I felt my heart start to beat again, my senses went insane. Every sound, every smell and everything I saw was advanced by a thousand. But one thing was on my mind, I was hungry."When she wakes, we have to be prepared. She'll be hungry, so we will hope that she wants to come to us and I can give her a bag from the fridge." Carlisle.
"No way she would do that, she would want something warm." Jacob?
Wincing in pain, as I brought my legs to the side of the bed. I used all of my strength to push myself up to my feet, trying to walk out the door. My body clench to embrace itself as it smacked against every wall and corner as I made my way outside, vampire speed was something different. Something that needed focus. Collapsing on the ground outside the house, Emmet, Jacob, Edward, Carlisle and Jasper. Came running out after me, Jacob falling to my side and sitting me up. He could smell the scent of death on me, finding a sharp rock by him. He sliced his hand, exposing warm blood.
Coming more conscious on what was happening around me, I grabbed onto Jacobs hand tightly as Jacob said in a worried tone. "Hope, you're dying. You need to feed." Looking up at him, I sighed heavily.
"What happens if I cannot handle what comes after?"
"You have been able to handle anything that life throws at you, you've got this." He reassured, gulping I said.
"See you on the other side." I leant into Jacobs hand, sinking my fangs in as I begun to drink some of his blood. Hearing storms above me, everyone gasped as I could see flashes of red. Opening my eyes as I let go of Jacob, looking up at him, I watched my eyes become yellow in the reflection of his eyes. Looking past him at the sky, it went from its misty grey colour to blood red. Lighting and thunder attacked the red skies like a throw down fight of the gods was happening.
That was the moment, that I changed the supernatural world. Hearing a distant whisper in my ear say.
"Destroy them all."
