"What the-?" I said as I got to my feet, walking towards my opposite reflection in the mirror. Any move that I do, she didn't do.

"Thought you could get rid of me that easily, didn't you?" She huffed in amusement.

"Hey, who are you talking to?" Eric questioned as he entered the room from the steamy bathroom, a towel wrapped around his pinched waist.

"Her, can't you see her?" I pointed to my reflection, he looked at me confused.

"Hope, it's just your reflection. You feeling ok? You hungry? Come on."

To be honest with you, I don't know what is going on with me. Am I now going soft? Or was I hungry and going delusional? Eric and I moved around a lot, didn't stay in one spot for to long. You stay in one spot for to long, people start to ask questions and put two and two together. Eric disappeared for a while, which didn't bother me. I enjoyed the peace and quiet from being followed around by an interactive ghost, slash figure of my imagination.

Entering my new motel room, I turned and locked the door behind me. Turning the one main room light on, I jumped in my skin. Seeing what was once my reflection, a full figure sitting on the bed. Watching myself look at me, she looked pissed.

"You and I have a few things to talk about." She got to her feet as I dropped my bags at my feet, it was strange. Everything was a perfect match.

"This can't be real, this is some sort of delusion and I'm over it." I said aloud as my copy giggled.

"Obviously not, you're not over the fact you were not the first choice, finding out your birth parents died because of you, hurts. I'm just getting started with you, you deep down hate how much Charlie is hurting right now."

"You're not real." I shook my head, watching myself press her lips together.

"Keep telling yourself that."

"I just did." I replied sneakily, she took a step towards me.

"I'm your humanity and I am trying to return, you know it. You're just a coping mechanism, the easy way out." She looked at me softly.

"Shut up!" I yelled as I took a couple of steps towards her, standing at an arm reach.

"You're the one yelling, see right now. I am just a tiny  voice in your head, telling you what you already know. But, I will grow louder. If you don't listen. Because I am and always will be, your better half. The real Hope Swan." Raising an eyebrow up at her, I turned around on my heals. Heading for the door.

"We will see about that." I stated as I opened the door, looking at her over my shoulder.

"Damn right you will."
