Smells of hospitals put me off massively, sitting on a waiting bed as the nurse ran my observations. I looked to Charlie annoyed, him knowing I hate the doctors and I hate shots.
"Oh, Dr Cullen!" Charlie stated, looking over my shoulder. A doctor walked through the doors, his skin as pale as snow and yellow eyes... blonde hair, that played off a sandy colour.
"Heard the Chiefs youngest was here." Dr Cullen smiled, taking the board from the nurse. "Hope. You've been a bit unwell lately, I see. Seems like you still have a fever."
"Yeah, nauseous aswell." I added, he brought out a paddle pop stick and a small torch.
"Open up." I opened my mouth on his order, sticking my tongue out, he checked my tonsils. I saw a flicker in his eye, like he internally flinched. "Everything seems to be ok, seems like a typical flu. I'll send you home with some antibiotics and cold and flu tablets." Dr Cullen said as he took the paddle pop stick from my mouth and put his torch back in his pocket.
"Thank you." Charlie thanked him.
"Not a problem, you don't be a stranger now. Ok." Doctor Cullen smiled at me, giving a smile back. He walked off onto the next patient, I felt a cold shiver go down my spine. Feeling dad place a hand on my shoulder, I looked up at him as he gave me a head gesture. I followed behind him, collecting meds on the way out. We headed home, where Charlie had to drop me off so he could head off to work. I smiled as I saw a cheeky smile waiting for me upon the front door step. Dad pulling to a stop, I looked to him.
"He's here to look after you whilst I am at work, I'll be home later tonight, so will Bella. Be good." We exchanged a kiss on the cheek, racing out of the car. I ran to Jake with excitement, just as I was about to embrace each other into a hug. I came to a sharp stop, throwing up into the bushes.
"You alright?" He asked.
"I'm good, I'm good." I reassured, wiping my mouth. Turning to face him, I noticed a pile of chunky books on the front door step. "What's that?" I pointed.
"Some witch books, we're going to have a study date." He smiled, my facial expression dropping. He patted my shoulder as he dragged me inside.
