apology.

To my dearest Renesmee,
How I hate how you have been pulled into this entire situation. You are too young and too innocent to understand the burden this world can carry. The world does not deserve you and the gifts you carry.

Driving with Jacob and Renesmee, Jacob looked over to me as we headed to see Dad and Sue, Jacob sighed heavily as he looked over to me.

"You know, I am actually happy to go to see Charlie and Sue. Give us a break from all those bloodsuckers." He tried to make conversation, looking at him briefly as I raised an eyebrow at him.

"I am part bloodsucker, did you forget about that?" I spat, he took a moment to realise his stupid comment.

"I'm sorry, I don't think before I speak." I scoffed at his comment.

"You don't think before you do a lot of things." I dug at him, hearing his heart beat raise. He was anxious. Sitting there in silence, I could literally hear everything happening with Jacob. His anxious heart beat, the spinning stomach, the grinding of the teeth. It was loud, irritating.

"Spit it out Jake, I know you have something to say. Grinding of your teeth is really annoying me." I bluntly said to him, he was shocked.

"I wanted to say, I am sorry. For everything, my stupid childhood crush on your sister, got in the way on how I feel about you." I scoffed at his comment, looking in the review mirror to check on Renesmee. "I am being honest, you can tell by my heart." It was true, he was being genuine. "I love you, Hope. With my entire being and I am honestly, so sorry for how I treated you. I treated you like an option, when in reality you were the only thing I ever needed."

"Jake." I tried to interrupt, he cut me off. Begging.

"Please, let me finish. I am going to try and show you, that I am truely sorry. I wish for you to forgive me one day and we can work on a loving and supportive life together, that's the only thing I dream about. I'll protect you the best I can until my last breath, they all see you as a weapon to end the Volturi, but they don't know how truely smart you are. Only I do, I know what you are truely capable of, the power you hold, how you could take out half the world's population if you put your mind to it."

"Wow, are you honestly believing this crap?" I looked up in the review mirror, seeing my other self sitting beside my niece. Scoffing at Jacobs apology, I ignored her. As she placed her hands on the back of my seat, leaning forward as she said. "Come on, he is right about one thing. You could take out the world if you really wanted to. Let's take them on, the Volturi. Be the big hero to them, but we go back to turning the world red." Go away, go away.

"Can we start over? You don't have to give me an answer now-." I cut Jake off, patting his Jean pants as I ignored the headache I felt as we pulled up in front of Charlie and now Sues place.

"Take it day by day." I told him, as I watched him try and hide a smile.

"I can work with that."
