There's been an intruder, an unwelcome guest inside my home. The scent was strong according to Jacob, the intruder hovered mostly in mine and Bella's room.

Walking back outside with Bella and Jacob. We stopped near Edward who waited outside, so he didn't throw the stench. "Whoever it was, definitely left their nasty stink behind. It'll be hard to miss when we cross it again. We'll handle it from here." Jacob said as I stood beside my sister.

"We don't need you to handle anything, or anyone." Edward replied.

"I couldn't care less with what you need." Jacob growled.

"Alright, we're done here." Edward went to take Bella's hand. "Did you want to chat more, hope?" Edward questioned, in a quick swish motion. Jacob grabbed ahold of me, tucking me away behind him.

"You don't touch her." Jacob warned.

"Stop!" Bella and I yelled.

"I'm tired of this, I am sure Hope is too. So for now, we're both Switzerland. Ok?" Bella pleaded.

Sighing heavily, feeling Jacobs grip on my arm tighten. I knew he hated the idea as much as Edward did, but it wasn't about rivalry anymore. It was about my safety, as well as the safety of Bella and Charlie.

In the days that followed, Bella and I worked together to get them to see eye to eye. The wolves took over for the Cullens, allowing them to hunt. It wasn't an easy alliance.

By morning, Edward and Bella would drive me half way to La Push. A meeting point so I could get dropped off into Jacobs care, Bella phrases it. As Bella will be in the care of the Cullens at their family home. Edward parked the car, as he looked over his shoulder to say.

"Don't let him tell you what not to and what to become, if you feel it's right. Don't hesitate to come to me." Giving Edward an awkward smile, I gave him a small nod.

"Thank you." I said as I got out of the car, closing the door behind me. They sat and waited for Bella to have peace of mind that I got to Jacob ok, if a matter of 20 steps. I smiled as I approached Jacob, leaning against his little red buzz box car.

"Hey, beautiful." Jacob smiled, leaning towards me for a hug.

"Hey." I smiled as he brought me into a tight hug, his arms wrapped around me tightly. Listening to Edwards car speed off, we left the hug. Heading for the passenger seat, as Jacob headed for the driver seat. We looked at each other from across the top of the car.

"So, what do you want to do today? Bike, hike, food? Your call, but we're going to a party tonight." He said as he hoped in.

Spending the day together, swimming, getting food and just enjoying each other's company. It came to nightfall, borrowing one of Jacobs jumpers. I narrowed my eyebrows as we slowly approached a bonfire, Jacob took ahold of my hand as we walked towards it.

"Are you sure, this is ok? I hate being a party crasher." I asked, leaning into Jacob.

"Technically, you're a council meeting crasher. See, the council members. There's Dad, Quills grandpa and Sue Clearwater. She took over for Harry, when he died." He explained, feeling kind of out of place. I stopped in my tracks as I took my hand away from his.

"I shouldn't be here." I looked at him stressed, he looked at me sympathetically.

"Hey, you're ok." He lowered his voice. "I thought, I mean- they thought, it would be good for you to hear the histories."

"Histories?" I narrowed my eyebrows, coming to realise. "The tribes histories? Aren't they secret?" I questioned.

"We all have a role to play, you're apart of this. It's also the first time, Seth, Leah and Quill are hearing them too." He offered me his hand, taking it. He smiled as we started walking towards the bonfire once again.

"If I had known, I would've dressed. Better?" I stood there, pointing out my outfit. Blue jeans, combat boots and Jacobs oversized grey hoodie.

"You look cute." He smiled, making me smile. "Come on." Him giving a gesture with his head, we started to walk again. Observing littlest Clearwater run up to us.

"Jake, Hope!" Seth cheered as he ran up to us.

"Hey." Jacob and I replied, Jacob patting Seth's shoulder.

"It's about time you guys got here. Paul's been hoovering the grub, but I saved you guys some burgers." Seth smiled, proud of himself.

"Good looking out, bro." Jake told him.

"How's it been, being the newest member of the pack?" I asked Seth.

"Amazing. It's great being the Newest, Fastest, Brightest." I giggled at Seth being cheeky, as Jacob added.

"And slowest." Jacob grabbed Seth into a headlock, ruffing each other up as I heard Billy whistle out to us.

"Come on you two, sounds like Billy is about to start." I pulled Seth from Jacob, Seth ran off. Jacob and I followed, taking a seat beside each other as Billy started.

"The Quileutes have been a small tribe, from the beginning. We have always had magic in our blood, not as much as some." Billy winked at me. "We were great spirit warriors, shapeshifters." I looked to Jacob, who was looking at me. Him giving me a wink and a cheeky smirk, I smiled as he kissed the side of my head. "That transformed into the powerful wolf, this enabled us to scare off our enemies and protect our tribe. One day our warriors came across, a creature. Looked like a man, but hard like stone and as cold as ice. Our warriors sharp teeth, finally tore it apart. But, only fire could completely destroy it. They live in fear, that the cold man was not alone. They were right. She took her vengeance out on the village, our elder chief, Taha Aki, was the only spirit warrior left to saved the tribe after his son was killed. Taha Aki's third wife could see that he would lose. The third wife was no magical being, with no special powers but one, courage. The third wife's sacrifice, distracted the cold woman. Long enough for Taha Aki to destroy her. She saved the tribe. Over time, our enemies have disappeared. But one remains, the cold ones." Billy looked to me, knowing how it'll affect me. Because of Bella.

"Our magic awakens when they are near, and we sense it now. We feel the threat in our blood. Something terrible is coming, and we must all be ready, all of us." Billy looked to me once again, knowing that it a certain circumstance. I might have to activate every side of me, to protect the tribe and to protect the humans.
