finally got a smile back on his face.

The hunt was on, Victoria and get accomplice making their way to forks. On each side of the border, the cullens and the pack hunted her down. Jacob stayed awake, watching over me sleep. Afraid of any chance of Victoria getting her cold hands on me.

The morning sun beamed over the mountains in La Push. Jacob and I made our way to Bella's school, finding out by Charlie she went to Jackson ville with Edward. We stood in the rain as we waited upon their arrival. Looking over my shoulder, spotting them come out of Edwards car. I nudged Jacob, as he turned to face them. We walked through the crowd of people who stared at us.

"Hey you two." Bella started.

"Heard you left town from Dad, how was mums?" I folded my arms.

"It was good, sorry I didn't let you know. You could've come, she asked about you." Bella replied, watching at the corner of my eye. Edward awkwardly smiled to himself.

"They are checking that you're still human." Edward explained.

"Just came here to warn you, if your kind come on our land again." Jake directed to Edward.

"Wait what?" Bella looked to me confused, I looked up to Edward who had fear in his eyes.

"You didn't tell her?" I questioned him.

"Leave it alone, Hope." Bella looked to her lover and asked.

"Tell me what?"

"Emmet and Paul, had a misunderstanding. It's nothing to worry about." Edward told Bella, making me huff a small laugh.

"Listen to you, did you lie to get her out of town too?" Jacob questioned Edward, standing on guard to grab him. Edward took a few steps towards Jacob, in a quick swish movement. I wedged myself between the two.

"Careful, I can turn you to a ball of a fire if I wanted to." I warned, placing my hand up, ready to cast the spell at any moment.

"Just leave, now." Edward threatened.

"She has a right to know." Jacob said as I felt his chest up against my back. "She and Hope are the ones the red heads after."

"Victoria?" Bella quizzed, freaked. She looked to Edward. "Alice's vision." Edward sighed as he looked to her.

"I was trying to protect you."

"By lying to me." Bella replied, Edward looked to us as did Bella. "Well, we will talk about this. You, both of you. Why haven't you called me back?" Looking up to Jacob, he narrowed his eyebrows at her.

"I had nothing to say." Jacob started as he begun to walk back to his bike, he grabbed ahold of my hand. "Come on Hope." He said as he pulled me along.

"I have tones, hold on." Bella added as Edward stopped her. I hopped onto the back on Jacobs bike as he passed me his helmet. Bella went to chase after us as Jacob drove off, we headed back to Sam and Ems place. My heart beating heavy in my chest, I looked to Jacob as he set his bike up.

"Are you sure this is a good idea? Boys might be mad that I kept you away from them for a weeks." I put my hands into my pockets. "I am the Tribrid." Hearing patters of feet jump and land behind me.

"Look who's back!" Paul commented.

"Hey Hope." Quill!

"You too!?" I smiled.

"Yep, finally made the pack." He smiled back.

"Glad you have been keeping Jacob company, finally got a smile on his face again. After the whole heartbreak with Bella." Embry laughed. "Finally get a break from Jacobs obsessive inner monologue." Paul laughed along with him.

"I wish Bella called." Paul shoved.

"I wish Bella didn't call."

"Maybe I should call Bella."

"Maybe I should call Bella and hang up." Jokes went around the boys, trying to hold in my laugh. Jacob awkwardly laughed as he ordered.

"Alright, you guys can shut up now."

Hearing another set of foot prints join the group, I sucked in a deep breath as I spotted Leah. "Hey." I gave a small wave.

"Hey." She bluntly replied as she ran off and shifted. I looked to Jake who squeezed my arm in a reassuring way.

"Fun isn't she." Jacob huffed.

"Little wolf! Hey!" Em cheered as she came outside, followed by Sam. She rushed over, open arms. We wrapped each other up tightly. "Was wondering when you were going to bring Jacob back." She joked, Sam came up and ruffled my hair.

"Sam, are we good?" Jacob questioned as Em and I left the hug, she wrapped an arm around the side of Sam.

"We're good, she won't be running through our land any time soon or, getting her hands on you littlest wolf." He winked to me.

"Wooo! Woohoo!" The boys cheered as they ran off, laughing. I looked to Jacob who brought me into a side hug aswell, placing a kiss on the top of my head. I watched Sam and Em's facial expressions, as they observed the both of us. It was like they knew something, I couldn't put my finger on what.
