How could I do that? Become so possessive, where I become so blinded because of it? I thought I gained more control, I thought I had more respect for myself and more respect for my loved ones.

Stirring my cup of hot chocolate, staring into space. A gentle hand placed upon my shoulder as they joined my side, the smell of their hot chai danced around my scent. Emily placed a gentle hand on the side of my head, giving a small smile, I leant into her touch.

"Oh, little one. What's going on?" She questioned, taking her hands back. Sighing heavily, I looked out the glass doors. Watching Sam and Jacob instruct the pack on the movements and plans for tonight, when the moon hits its highest peak. When... when I shift for the first time.

"I could've avoided all of this, if I didn't get so god damn jealous." I shook my head, looking down in my lap. Emily giggled.

"Honey, you're aloud to get jealous. You're a young teenage girl, with an incredible amount of power. You're aloud to feel those things... I assume the jealousy is about Jake?" She raised an eyebrow, looking up at her. I guiltily shook my head yes. "Sweetheart, you two have been joined to the hip since... I don't know when! You're protective of him as much as he is protective of you, I know how it makes you feel. When your sister and him hang out, you're worried she might hurt him." A single year ran down my face, Emily leaning forward. She wiped it away with her thumb. "It's ok, to care."

"Thank you Em." I leant in towards her, bringing her into a tight hug. She rubbed small circles on my back.

"You're welcome..." She brought my face around to look at her. "Do me a favour."

"Of course, anything." I sat up straight, waiting for this big mission to come out of her mouth.

"Please, be a cute little grey wolf." I laughed at her comment. "I'm serious! Sam and I have a bet, he thinks you're going to be a darker colour and I reckon you'll be grey."

"I'll try." I laughed again, hearing the sliding door open. We looked at Sam and Jacob walk in.

"There's that beautiful smile." Jacob said as he walked around, kissing the top of my head. Bringing me into a hug from behind, I leant into his arm.

"All set?" Em asked the boys, as Sam joined her side.

"All set, we have a plan set. Jacob is going to be there for Hope, for when she shifts. Everyone has their sections to cover, don't want a baby wolf going too crazy now." Sam winked at me, as I rested my head back on his chest. "Everything will be ok, we will make sure that there isn't any complications." Sam tried to reassure me.

"Thank you Sam." I looked back to him, giving him a smile. "I'm sorry, I let this happen."

"Hey hey hey." Went around the room, Jacob came around and crouched in front of me. Taking my hand as he looked at me directly in the eyes.

"It's not your fault." He placed a hand on the side of my face. "It was self defence, it just sucks that this is the outcome of you protecting yourself."

"Jacobs right. Not your fault, you're our family hope." Sam begun, looking to him he gave me a look. It was comforting. "We'll work through this as a family, we will work through this as a pack."

I knew I had a home here, family members that loved each other and myself dearly. I always feared at the back of my mind, the day my vampire side is activated. Will I become their next hunt? I know you must laugh as you read this, me? Becoming the hunt, when I have been written in the stars to be the holy force against evil if directed on the right path. Or my terror will spread across the world, becoming an unstoppable force of nature. But nature always finds its loopholes.
