He was a blaze, vibrant and tall. Scorching the ground with every footfall.
She was just ice, trapped and cold, fending the warmth to save her soul.
He melted her, so she spilled into him.
Cooling the flames that burned from within.
Melded as one, no fire, no ice.
Together they built their world, their lives.Coming back from checking the area with Jacob, our feet brushing against the snow that the storm brought in the night before. We walked towards Bella and Edward who stood at the front of the tent. Overhearing Edward talking to Bella about his favourite times with Bella, a sentence stuck out to me. "My favourite is when you said yes to marrying me, Mrs Cullen." Bella huffed as she replied.
"This is the 21st century, I want to at least hyphenate my name."
"You're marrying him?!" Jacob came to a stop, his voice stern and upset. Knowing deep down, Jacob still felt something for my sister. All I did was stand by his side.
"Jake, I-." Bella stuttered, taking a step towards us. She looked to Edward, annoyed. "You knew they were listening."
"They deserve to know." Edward replied, looking to Jacob as he turned to storm off. Bella and I both yelled out to him.
"Jake Stop!" Going to follow after Jacob, hearing Bella come up behind me. Feeling the built up anger explode, I faced my sister and yelled.
"You've done enough!" I stood my ground.
"Let me talk to him, please hope." She begged, her taking a step towards me. I pushed my hands towards her, yelling.
"Patere!"
Watching her fly back and hit Edward, she looked at me with a shocked expression. Death staring her, I stormed off after Jacob. Calling out to him as I caught up to him at the cliffs edge before it goes down, he stopped to face me."I'm done! I'm so done!" He gritted his teeth.
"Jacob, what can I do? I know deep down you still feel something for her. But, I am here." I tried to calm him down, following him every time he took even a step. The cool icy breeze blowing through my hair, my heart beat raced. Worried for my friend, my love, my Jacob.
"You can't do anything, but I can. By going out there and killing something." He looked out at the view.
"No! Jacob, you're not thinking straight! If you run off right now, I'll put your ass into a sleeping spell. Do you understand me?!" I raised my voice at him, making him look at me. "You mean the most to me, are you seriously going to react this way for someone who doesn't love you like I do." My hands began to shake. "Jake, just stay!"
"Why?" He begun, walking towards me. "Give me one reason."
"Because, I don't want to lose you. I don't want to get down there and find you dead, cause your head wasn't in it." I explained, grabbing ahold of his wrist. "You're too important to me, I love you.. I love love you."
"Hope." Feeling my heart feel his pain, I screamed at him as he went to walk away.
"Jacob!.. Kiss me." He turned around to face me, his facial expression softened. He was shocked. "I'm asking you, to kiss me." He largely stepped towards me, holding my breath as he stood in front of me. He gently held my face, as his soft lips connected with mine. Our lips moving in sync, we moulded to each other. My arms around his neck, with my hands in his hair. His hands held me tightly on my waist.
It felt like we were in our own little world, but... I saw what my world would look like with him in it. Pureness, happiness and most of all the love and passion.
Our lips slowly leaving each other, we stared into each other's eyes as he brought his hands up from my waist. He held my face gently once again, pecking my lips softly. We placed our foreheads against one another, taking a breath. Small snowflakes danced around us as they gradually fell to the ground. He said softly to me.
"I'm glad, that was our first kiss." He took my hand. "Let's go kick some newborn ass." Giving him a smile, we headed down the slope and down to the place of battle hand in hand. Things are going to be different for now on, they will never be the same. But that is something I can live with.
