10. An eventful day.

It was around 6:30 PM when they all returned to the hospital. At the café, none of them had much of an appetite after such a tiring day, but they forced themselves to eat something to keep their energy up.

As they gathered outside the café, the Parks decided it was time to leave. Mrs park had already left early and now Min-jun felt it was best to head out too, as the situation regarding the baby was now in their hands.

Soo-ah felt bitter about leaving Taehyung early; she wanted to stay by his side but she couldn't do anything except follow her brother's orders.

They left and the Kim's and Jeon's made their way back to the hospital.

Jungkook was in high spirits on the way back, relieved that they hadn't encountered any trouble on the road again.

Jeon Eunwoo mentioned that he would take his leave too, but not before meeting the baby....as he hadn't had the chance to play with him yet.

All of them entered the baby's room quietly.

Jungkook couldn't help but wear the biggest smile on his face, bursting with excitement at the thought of seeing the little fluff ball again.

To his delight, they found the baby wide awake, lying on the bed and looking around with his big, adorable eyes, possibly searching for them. The nurse took her leave after seeing them.

The baby appeared much fresher now, his face glowing with health.

They all admired the baby with hearts in their eyes. He looked like an angel.

Taehyung wore his signature boxy smile, yearning to hold the angel in his protective arms.

However, he hesitated, worried that his inexperience might cause the baby to fall. He regretted not learning how to hold a baby earlier.

Jungkook and Taehyung stood side by side but neither of them seemed to notice the other's presence.

"Eomma, I think we should dress the baby. Otherwise, he might get cold," Jin suggested, glancing at the baby with concern.

"Yeah, you're right. You can put on the clothes. I'll go get the baby's feed; it's been two hours since he last had milk," Ha-rin replied stepping out to call the nurse for the feed, trusting Jin to care for the baby.

She knew how much Jin loved babies and had seen firsthand how perfectly he could take care of one when he looked after his niece.

Eunwoo received a business call, so he stepped out into the hospital garden to get better reception. Ye-Jun accompanied him, not wanting the baby to feel overwhelmed by too many people at once.

When Jimin heard Jin mention clothes for the baby, he went to the sofa and retrieved the shopping bags containing the baby's clothes that he and Yoongi had bought.

Jin looked puzzled as Jimin handed him the bags.

"Oh, hyung, me and Yoongi hyung bought these clothes for the baby," Jimin explained, noticing Jin's confused expression.

"But we don't need these; we already have clothes," Jin replied, lifting the bags from the table, which contained the clothes Jennie had bought.

"Wait, what?" Jimin asked, his confusion deepening.

Jungkook watched them with wide eyes, understanding the situation since both Jin and Jimin had already filled him in on the clothes.

However, he decided to stay out of it, knowing that getting involved would only complicate things further.

Namjoon and Yoongi exchanged puzzled looks.

Namjoon, realising the mix-up, chimed in. "Oh, I think you didn't know, but Jennie already bought clothes for the baby," he explained to Jimin and Yoongi.
