Only two days were left before their vacation came to an end.

No one was ready to return to their hectic schedules, yet reality was knocking on their door, reminding them that this peaceful time together would soon become a cherished memory.

The atmosphere in the house had shifted—suitcases lay open, half-filled with clothes and souvenirs, yet the air was heavy with the silent reluctance of parting ways with this warmth, this comfort, this rare moment of togetherness.

From the moment Seokjin’s pregnancy was revealed, he hadn’t lifted a single finger. No one allowed him to do anything, insisting that he rest while they fulfilled his every wish.

At first, it felt overwhelming for Seokjin, who had always been used to working... especially in the kitchen, where he found joy in cooking for his loved ones.

But as time passed, he grew to love the affection being showered upon him. It was heartwarming to see everyone being so protective, so caring, something he never thought he needed but now cherished deeply.

Jungkook and Jimin had taken over the kitchen, making sure to cook everything Seokjin craved. From home-cooked meals to late-night cravings, they handled it all, ensuring every dish was made with love.

Ha-rin and Irene never left Seokjin’s side, fusing over him, making sure he was comfortable, giving him warm hugs whenever he felt emotional.

Their presence was a soothing balm, a constant reminder that he wasn’t alone in this journey.

Hoseok took up the responsibility of running errands. He went to the market daily, buying fresh vegetables, groceries and most importantly...every single junk food item , Seokjin , as much as mentioned in passing. Pastries, chips, ice cream, spicy noodles ; Hoseok had it all covered.

Namjoon, on the other hand, provided the emotional support Seokjin needed the most from him . Whenever mood swings hit him, when his tears fell for no reason, when frustration clouded his mind, his husband was there, listening patiently, reassuring him with comforting words, rubbing circles on his back until he calmed down.

Taehyung and Yoongi, though unfamiliar with all this, didn’t want to be left behind.

They knew nothing about pregnancies, about cravings, about how to properly help but that didn’t stop them.

They spent hours researching together, reading articles, watching videos, determined to learn, to be useful, to be there for Seokjin hyung in their own way.

Now, evening has settled in. The golden hues of the setting sun bathed the house in soft, warm light. A gentle breeze swayed the curtains, filling the space with a calming serenity.

The elders were taking their evening nap, their soft breathing echoing in the quiet house.

The couples had retreated to their rooms, seeking a moment of rest before the night stretched ahead.

Despite the calmness, an unspoken feeling lingered in the air; the bittersweet realization that this time together was fleeting, that soon they would return to their separate lives, their busy schedules.

But for now, they had each other. And that was enough.

Taehyung was sitting on the bed, resting his back against the headboard, sitting comfortably while working on his laptop which was placed on his lap. His long fingers moved across the keyboard, typing away effortlessly as he focused on the emails piling up.

He was clad in his comfy home clothes—an oversized beige sweater that hung loosely on his frame, the sleeves slightly covering his hands, making him look smaller than he actually was. His soft brown pajama pants were slightly wrinkled from sitting cross-legged, adding to the cozy atmosphere of the night.
