Kim Mansion

Taehyung stood before the mirror in his bathroom, freshly showered, wearing a soft white bathrobe that clung to his shoulders.

He grabbed a towel, gently rubbing it over his damp hair.

The events of the previous night echoed in his mind—the favour Jungkook had asked of him.

The truth about his past with Jennie was something he had kept hidden, even from his parents and closest friends, except for his two most trusted hyung's, Namjoon and Yoongi.

It had been a long journey to bury those memories, and the thought of sharing them now felt both unsettling and oddly liberating.

But Jungkook, his soon-to-be wife, had the right to know.

Honesty between them would set a strong foundation for their future.

Finally, Taehyung resolved that today was the day he’d tell Jungkook everything. He took a steadying breath, mentally preparing himself, when a knock at the bathroom door jolted him back to reality.

"Tae Bear! What are you doing there? Hurry up, or do you plan to be late to your own wedding?" Yoongi’s teasing voice drifted through the door, laughter lacing his words.

There was a lightness in his tone that reminded Taehyung of simpler times.

Their days at Kim Enterprises had been relentless, leaving little space for the easy companionship they used to share.

"Coming, hyung…just give me five more minutes!" Taehyung called out, chuckling. He quickly grabbed the crisp white shirt and tailored pants from the hanger, slipping them on and buttoning up with practised ease.

When he stepped out, he found his two brothers and Hoseok waiting, already dressed to perfection.

"You all look so handsome!" Taehyung exclaimed, a playful whine in his voice. "I might not be able to outshine you guys today, and it’s my wedding!"

The three of them chuckled, charmed by his familiar antics.

"Don't worry, Taehyung-ah," Namjoon reassured, picking up Taehyung’s coat from the bed. "No one could outshine you today."

"Namjoon's right," Hoseok chimed in with his signature sunshine smile, adjusting his own cuffs with a wink.

Taehyung glanced at the tie Hoseok was holding out for him, a slight pout forming on his lips. "Do I really have to wear this?"

Hoseok just nodded, smiling at his adorable resistance.

With a sigh, Taehyung relented, letting them fuss over him as they perfected every detail. There was something comforting about this—his hyungs fussing over him, offering their support in subtle gestures, just like they always had.
