the day had been filled with nothing but excessive kissing— and when i said i excessive i meant it. i mean dawn had kissed her girlfriend more times than she even blinked.
billie didn't understand dawns clinginess but she adored it. she held her tightly and kissed her passionately each time dawn poked her lips out.

and now as billie made dinner, some sort of noodle soup, dawn wrapped her arms around billie and kisses her cheek.
"hi baby" billie laughed, dawn hums "hi love."

truth be told dawn was only acting like this because her new medication was making her just a tad bit off the rales, even though she wouldn't admit it.

"dawn," billie says to which dawn hums and squeezes billie tighter, "i think you're cutting off my circulation."

"whoops," dawn replies loosening her grip. billie chuckles and begins to put the food into two bowls, dawn still practically attached to billies hip.

billie walks her way to the living room, where dawn sits on her lap to eat. billie only smiles at her girlfriend before beginning to eat.

dawn looks into billies bowl before saying "can i have some of yours?"
billie raises her eyebrows with a mouth full of noodles "we have the same thing" she finally says.

dawn shrugs "i know but yours looks better."

billie laughs and simply switches bowls with her girlfriend. dawn is satisfied and eats the whole bowl while billie takes off dawns hat and hoodie.
she didn't like when she covered her head up and wore hoodies far too big for her because they covered her entire face which billie loved more than anything.

when dawn finishes eating billie says "why don't you take a bath or something while i clean up all of this?"

dawn nods and walks her way to her bedroom, and billie was only able to run water for dishes before dawn was back at her hip.
"what is it dawn," billie asked with a smile, dawn kisses billies lips and tucks her head into her neck.

"can you take one with me," dawn asked billie. billie felt her heartbeat quicken "are you sure" billie asked "i mean of course i will but are you sure" she rambled.

billie loved dawn with her entire being, thought of her as the most beautiful woman in the world, and feared that seeing her girlfriend naked would drive her love to heights she didn't even know she could reach.

"i'm sure" dawn whispers into her neck.

billie picks dawn up and walks them to her bedroom, she sits dawn down before running the water for their bath.
and when the bath is perfectly bubbly billie stands and returns to her girlfriend still sitting on the bed.

"it's ready," she says, for dawn, she wasn't nervous at all, and part of that was due to the medication once again but also because she knew billie thought she was beautiful.

so dawn simply began to take her clothes off to which billie turns around rather quickly. dawn laughs "it's okay billie," she says as billie turns back around.

and when her blue eyes landed on her girlfriend's body she had to stop her mouth from opening agape. dawn was so beautiful billie would laugh at the stars in pity if she could.
billie couldn't peel her eyes away, her cheeks glowed a bright red and her eyes glimmered.

"what is it," dawn says as she walks to the bathroom and sits in the bath.
"you're just so beautiful," billie says, "like i cannot even fathom it dawn. there are literal tears in my eyes."

dawn chuckled "thank you, my love."

billie sighs in contentment, and after a minute she was sitting behind dawn, wrapping her arms around her body. the couple shared the silence, the bliss.

dawn could only think about the feeling of her girlfriend's skin on hers, the way she could feel billies hands trembling slightly.
all she could think about was how much she loved billie, how much she wanted to grow old with her.

her eyes began to water simply thinking about how she will not get her wish, she thought about never being able to have kids when that's the one thing she's wanted for as long as she could remember. 

dawn simply began to think about every little thing that will never happen to her because she is dying.

billie leans her chin on dawns shoulder, kissing her neck briefly, which only made dawn think harder about never having what she wanted.

"i really really like you billie," dawn says quietly because she truly did. in fact, she loved billie more than herself.
billie chuckles "i really really like you dawn."

"why," dawn asked because everyone has that sort of curiosity. billie chuckles "why? i don't even know where to start."

it's quiet for a moment before billie speaks up "when i saw you all i could think was she's the one. all i could think about was how you were too beautiful and vibrant that even i couldn't handle you" billie chuckles "you corrupted my mind like no one before and all of my thoughts were you. what i thought you liked, what i wanted to do with you, how much i liked you dawn."

dawn is slowly melting from her girlfriend's words, as each one places a warm kiss somewhere on her body.
"everything i see reminds me of you, every love song i hear i picture us. i picture the way i want a life with you baby like i just— i just really really like you."

dawn sighs as she chokes back the tears that have been threatening to spill since she began thinking about a life with billie.

"you still believe in the multiverse right billie," dawn asked, billie furrows her eyebrows "of course, why?"

"because," dawn says even though billie already knew the words about to pour from her girlfriend's mouth. they both knew yet billies was the only one who hadn't admitted it.

"don't say things like that dawn," billie says even though dawn hadn't even gotten her words out yet. dawn sighs and grabs her towel, standing from the bath to walk back into her room.

billie follows soon after, wrapping her towel around her as well.
"dawn i don't like to think of things like that," billie says as they both begin to put pajamas on and get ready for bed.
dawn only sighed as her head hit the pillow of her bed, she brings her knees to her chest and billie follows behind her, pulling dawn into her chest.

"you shouldn't deny it billie," dawn says "it'll only make it hurt more."
billie didn't want to accept it, she feared that the sooner she did, the sooner dawn would lose her grip on life.

"goodnight dawn" was all billie replied with, dawn didn't respond.
