Lachlan imagine for Liddy

To Liddy: I said your little bro's name was Aiden 😂 if you said your little brother's name I'm sorry I forgot what part you commented on :/

"Can we go now?" Aiden whines.
"No." I state kicking my legs back and forth on the swing. "Mom is paying me for each hour and it's only been two. I need at least one more. Besides, this is fun." I squeal getting higher and higher on the swing.

"Ugh." He groans sitting on a bench next to the swing set. I look over to see a boy around my age sitting next to him looking bored as him.
"What's up?" He asks pushing his hair back looking at Aiden. Aiden better know what stranger danger is.

"Waiting for my sister to stop acting like a little kid. That's my job!" He huffs crossing his arms making me laugh to myself continuing to swing.
"Your sister is here right?" He asks arching an eyebrow. Aiden nods pointing over to me and I wave.

"Hey!" I shout smiling. He was cute.
"Hey. You enjoying yourself?" He asks both of them walking towards me.
"Yeah. More than him at least." I chuckle motioning towards Aiden who just rolls his eyes. "I'm Liddy." I state stopping my swing and shaking his hand.

"Lachlan." He tells me and takes a seat on the swing next to me. "I've never used these before. How do you do it?" He asks making me laugh. I've never met someone who hasn't swung on a swing before, but I show him anyway. I pull back on the ropes and let go kicking my feet in and out under me explaining to him as I do so and he follows, but get entangled sometimes cause of his long legs. Did I mention he reminded me of a giraffe?

Soon he gets the hang of it and we swing in sync. "I bet I can go higher." He laughs making me shake my head.
"Nah." I protest trying to go as high as I can beating him. He does the same gaining around the same height as me both of us erupting with child-like laughs. "Wait, do you see Aiden?" I asks Lachlan slowly getting worried. His head frantically moves around looking for my little brother until they land on the slide across the lot.

"He's over there with my little sister. They seem to be having as much fun as us." He points and my eyes follow seeing a blonde haired little girl playing with Aiden and I smile.
"Aww. That's cute." I smile stopping my swing him soon doing the same.

"I'd love to know more about you sometime." He mumbles making me blush. Obviously, he was nervous.
"Okay. Here's my number." I take the receipt from Aiden's and my lunch ripping a piece off and writing down my number saying 'Liddy's number :D' and hand it to him. He smiles gratefully and takes it pulling out his phone.

"This you?" I ask Lachlan holding up my phone and he nods so I make his contact name 'Lachy 🐫' (a camel because why not) and we continue talking until Aiden and Lachlan's little sister come up to us squealing and skipping next to each other.
