Love is different for everyone
Humans find love in the simple things, such as afternoon strolls, weddings and sunset kisses
Waiting for their other soul to come back from war safe
To protect them and love them in return
Two souls winding togethe...
"The flushed loveliness of summer fading in his famished embrace" - Carol Tufts

"You look sheepish, lamb" Aphrodite smiled at me She likes to play with people I learnt as such at my own wedding when she tried to invoke fear into me
To doubt my own husband and his fidelity His loyalty But she could not. Because I trust him.
"No, simply cautious. I have never socialised with so many gods before" I said politely She picked up her glass, eyes falling down me and back to my own "Well then... are you not so fortunate as you are now to be seated with us?" She said.
"Of course" I smiled "I heard you are returning to the depths of depravity in a few days" Hera said amused "To the underworld" I corrected, fast catching on that I was here for their entertainment
"And you are satisfied? With your marriage? Hades is very taken with you" Artemis said kindly "Yes. I am looking forward to being reunited. We can advance our relationship" I said hopeful
Aphrodite scoffed "In what way? He made you his wife, be grateful you got such a title" she said "There is more to a marriage than the status" Amphitrite argued
"Says the woman taken for her... dancing" Aphrodite argued back smugly "At least we possess anything in addition to beauty, if someone ruined your face, what would you be able to offer?" Hera threw at Aphrodite I thought these women liked one another Clearly I was wrong
"I meant more like... possibly starting a family" I said to Artemis Who raised her brows "A family? With Hades? Are you certain?" She asked
"Should I not be?" I asked "Children with the god of the dead?" Hera laughed "Are you delusional?" Aphrodite joined her laughter I looked to Artemis
"Hades does not invoke... life. Are you certain that given his lifestyle... he could provide you with a child?" She asked gently I thought about it. And I was not sure
I did not think there was any possibility that he could not

"This will not end well for us" Theseus worried aloud as we looked upon her housing "Of course it will. Do you want to spend the rest of your life alone? People doubting your ability because you have no princess by your side?" I asked him
