LUNA'S P. O. V

“Gusto kong humingi ng tawad sa'yo... sa inyo ng mga kapatid mo lalo na kay Kuya Kaiser. Ako...ako ang nagsabi kay Eagle nang nalalaman ko tungkol sa isa mo pang kapatid.” Denver confessed, his voice shaky. His eyes couldn't meet mine, guilt etched deeply on his face.

My breath hitched as my brows knitted. “Wait, wait. saan mo nalaman? Kanino? Paano?”

He swallowed hard. “I overheard Deth talking to someone that day. Now that we know everything's settled between him and Panotchi, it's likely that he was that person who told him.”

The weight of his admission settled like a stone in my chest. “Ang laki ng kasalanan mo sa amin, Denver. May proseso ang pagpapatawad, hindi ba? It won't be easy for me to forgive you. But I'll go through it. And I hope you find the courage to face my brothers, especially Kuya Kaiser.”

Je nervously glanced away before giving a slight nod. “Yes, I will. Kapag nagkita-kita kami.”

I glanced toward our friends, now causing a ruckus again. The room was clean—just how Panotchi wanted it. No traces of food or drinks, but bodies were strewn everywhere, still passed out from all the alcohol.

“Deth,” I called softly, noticing him talking to Gavin.

He turned when he heard me, even though my voice was barely a whisper.

Tumayo ako nang lingunin niya ako. Lumapit siya sa akin at ngumiti. "Ano 'yun?"

“Hey, you two...”

Napatingin kami kay Denver. Kumunot ang noo ko nang mapansing bahagyang malaki ang mga mata niya at habang nagpapabalik-balik ang tingin sa amin ni Deth.

“What?” Tanong ni Deth.

“Bulong lang ang ginawang pagtawag sa'yo ni Luna yet you heard? Tapos kausap mo pa si Gavin? What are you? Chaos?” Naguguluhang tanong ni Denver.

“Ay hindi 'yan ako!” Natatawang sigaw ni Chaos. "I hear everything na nanggagaling sa mga bibig niyo, even whispers. Si Deth? Luna’s voice is the only one his ears seem to care about.”

Nagtawanan ang mga gunggong. 

Deth scratched his head awkwardly. “Gago, pero totoo naman,” he admitted with a grin.

Napailing-iling si Denver na napatingin sa akin, hindi makapaniwala. “At ikaw? Hindi ka nagulat?”

I just shook my head, pointing to Deth as he draped an arm over my shoulder. “Eh kahit nga magkalayo kami, kapag tinatawag ko pangalan niya, nadating siya. Dito pa kaya na nasa iisang room lang kami?”

“Sabi ko na, eh!” He teased as he removed his arm from my shoulder. Hinarangan niya si Denver kaya siya na ang nasa harap ko. 

“Tigilan mo ako sa kayabangan mo, baka masipa kita.” I warned, my voice light but with a hint of threat.

He pouted, pinching my cheeks. "Want me to make you pancakes?"

I swatted his hands away, laughing. “Is that a bribe?”

“Nope. I was planning to make some anyway. Ask Storm pa, eh,” Deth replied, a mischievous glint in his eye.

“Tanungin mo rin ang iba, baka gusto nila.”

“Do you guys want pancakes?” Deth shouted to the room. Most shook their heads while a few said no. Talaga ba?

“Ayaw nila,” he said with a shrug, turning back to me with a playful grin. He leaned in close, whispering, “Samahan mo 'ko sa pagluluto. I already asked Lucifer. He said it's fine as long as I don’t do anything... inappropriate with you.”
