Chapter 18: Captured

POV: First person, Neteyam

It was almost a eclipse soon, my siblings and friends decided to hang out in the ocean.

We swam with our ilu, playing tag or hide and seek underwater. The only people who weren't joining us was Kiri and Y/n.

"Where is Kiri and Y/n," Roxto looked around with absolute concerned.

"Let's go find them," I said and went back underwater.

We swam all together, so no one could get lost. We found them swim together connecting close with the sea creatures and plants.

They turned to us. Kiri smile with her teeth and waved. While Y/n's was a small. Kiri saw this and took Y/n's arm and waved it harder. Y/n just look at her with a straight face.

I laughed underwater as I love the cute friendship they're having. They swam towards us and to the surface.

"Sorry all, I was showing Y/n my special talents," Kiri smiled and it seems sparkle shown around her.

"Mhm," Y/n said but didn't seem to pay attention towards us.

Her ears stood high. She went with her ilu towards to what she was hearing. Kiri too.

The rest stayed were we are and watch watch was going on.

Suddenly we heard propellers.
Y/n turned and shouted, "Demon ship! Go Now," we ride our ilu to not get close to the demon ship.

Lo'ak pressed the button on his neck, "Dad, they- they build any other demon ship," he said quickly.
Kiri's ilu was shot, which meant that she could only swim.

"Kiri!" Y/n yelled and went to her. Grabbing her arm and tried to place her on Y/n's ilu.

But it was too late. A huge net came and took them.

"Kiri! Y/n!," I yelled and swam towards them.

I quickly climb on the net and tried to cut it. But it was too tough.

The sky people took us on their demon ship.

"Go! Go Lo'ak, get mom and dad. I'll be alright," I urged them to leave.

The avatars started to pointed their guns and machinery.

But Y/n was quick enough and cut the tough net, "Go Kiri!"

Kiri jumped out and into the water, "you next Neteyam," she said.

"No you first," I pulled her arm to me.

"They can't have you or their siblings," she said as tried to push me into the water.

I didn't budge for a second until she was able to push me into the water.

"Y/n!" I screamed. I saw Kiri was my parents.

Oh thank Eywa.

I did not want to leave the person who saved me. I climb back to the demon ship.

"Neteyam no!" I heard my father yell from afar.

"Oho, you're coming with us," a avatar grabbed my hair and dragged me into the demon ship.

I was thrown into a room full of lights and locked the door. There I saw a familiar figure giving me a death glare.

"You still have your gemstone," she spoke.

"Yeah they didn't take it off," I respond as I breathe heavily.

She then inhaled, "What on pandora are you here, I thought I pushed you into the water," she brought her hands out and waved them around annoyed by me.

"I-," she unknowingly interrupted me.

"Oh for Eywa's sake you're so stubborn. Like- like how can you be sooo strong and smart but strong and dumb at the same time," she rambled.

"Hey," I grabbed her shoulders, "can I please speak," I begged her.

She quickly calmed down and gave her signature face to me.

"I could not leave the person who saved me. Shouldn't I save you as well," I jerked my head looking her.

"I didn't know I save you in the-," she was about to finish her sentence until someone opened the door.

"My my.. two Lovebirds... I mean lovr navis," an avatar stepped him. We turned to the voice

I quickly put Y/n behind me to protect her. She gave me a 'I'm an independent young woman. I can defend myself' look. They took our weapons away, so I was ready to use my bare hands.

"Woah easy there kid," he put his hand up in defense, "you remember me it's Quaritch," he gave a devil smile.
