Chapter 40: Why did you save him?

POV: First person, Neteyam

I stayed in the tent that was used to help my wounds. I didn't move nor did I want to. I just wanted to clear my mind. But all I could was weep and cried out quietly, no tears shedded.

"You.. you okay Neteyam," said a voice that was familiar. I turned to the voice. There stand out of my tent was Spider.

"You," I suddenly got up, my voice harsh. Of course sense he's human, I stood much taller than him.

"Me what," he asked confused, "is there something that I did,"

"You...," that's were I lost it, I pushed Spider out of the tent.

Spider fell to the floor, grunting. That's were many Na'vi watch us, gasping.

"Why did you save him? Why did you have to save that demon? If you didn't save him, Y/n wouldn't be injured," I pointed a finger at him. My muscles tensed and I gritted my teeth forcefully. I was ready to attack him.

Quaritch is no good.. I know for a fact that Spider's dad is Quaritch him self but...

"Lo- look I can explain please," he put his hands up in defense and got up.

"How- how could you do this to us," my voice quivered again, "we accept you, we help you, raised you, be friends with you," I voice grew louder as I was ready to beat Spider.

"What is going on," Appeared the newest Chief Tarsem, his face concerned for the both of us.

I didn't want to speak anymore, so I was ready to punch Spider though his mask. I quickly walk up to him, but people stopped me. Knowing what I was going to do, they begged me not to.

"Hey, hey Neteyam stop this," my father came to stopped me too.

I growled, "You, tell them what you did," I blurted out, still trying to get to him, but people were pulling me away.

He said nothing, ashamed to say what he did.

So I spoke again, "Tell them," she shouted.

"Okay okay Neteyam... let's get you away from this. Spider you go to the tubes," Dad nodded towards. Spider commanded and hurried there, looking down in shame.

I huffed, "why are you letting him go huh? He save him dad," I glared at my father.

"Saved who," he asked.

"Quartich sir," I answered and looked at Spider as he ran away, my brows pushed together.
