Chapter 76: Please don't leave... we will figure this out...

POV: First person, Neteyam

"Yes, but I'm sure that the sky people do," Y/n nodded.

We heard more chit-chatter, about their plan of attack or- sneak mission. Until Y/n spoke about something that made me walked into the room.

"I also we should put your children somewhere safer and where they don't get into battle like last time," She suggested.

My father hummed and nodded, "will do... I'll just bring them deep into the forest here,"

"But also doing so we should warn the other clans and get them ready for any attack," Y/n turned to Tonowari and Ronal.

"Alright," Tonowari nodded, "You will be joining us, confirmed," he asked.

"Yes," She nodded.

"What," my eyes widened.

So that means Y/n will go with them and not include us? What about Lo'ak and I?

"What do you mean you will go with them," I stormed into the chief's home, shouting at Y/n. They all stood up when the others and I came in.

"It's dangerous if you go. You have already gone through too much," Y/n said.

"It's for the best Neteyam," Jake said sternly.

"But I'm a warrior like you, I'm supposed to fight," I pointed to myself. (See what I did there ahaha ok ill shut up)

"Are you guys going to another war," Kiri spoke looking at father.

"Mommy I don't want you to go," Tuk ran to hug mom and cried in between embraces.

"Quaritch is alive because Spider saved him isn't it," Lo'ak glared.

"Spider... that demon is alive because of him," Mom turned to dad, "you knew of this," turning to Y/n and me, "and he the both of you too,"

"Look- Spider has his reasons," Y/n brought her hands out, "he's just a child. He meant no harm, okay? He saved Quaritch, because he saved him," trying to calm mom down.

"That does not make an excuse. That demon was the reason my eldest son was dead. Do not try to convince me that Spider is someone we can trust," Neytiri looks towards Y/n.

"We should all calm down, people," Tonowari budged in.

"Hey, please calm down...," Jake tried to soothe mom.

"But Spider went through terrible machines, that would tell you where you people are... he didn't tell anyone where you all went. Neytiri... he put his life on the line, just so all of you had time to escape," Y/n eyes saddened.

"... like father like son. He saved him... I will kill that demon too,"

"I understand your anger but you have to understand that Spider doesn't have a family... he lacks the attention he needed. And Quaritch was able to give him that,"

"You... I thought I could respect you... but here you are trying to convince me that Spider and that demon have shown a side well... what are you? Are you siding with the sky people? Are you one of that demon's children,"

"Mama... please calm down," Tuk shook mother.

"What... no... I just understand Spider's view. I have no family either,"

Neytiri exhaled, "Get out,"

"What," we all said.

"Although you help my family... I do not know if I can trust you... you will not go in the mission and will go back to your original home,"

Y/n looked at me and I looked back, "but mother.. she has not done anything wrong,"

"Neteyam stay out of this," my father says.

Y/n looked at the floor and back at us, "okay," she said, "I'll go get my stuff and leave immediately," she turned to leave.

"Wait! Y/n-," I ran after her, but my mother stopped me.

"Neteyam... this is for your own safety... I'm sorry," My mother's eyes softened.

"You don't understand, do you? I love Y/n... you... you can't do that. A part of me will be empty without her," Tears came out of me, "I understand Spider... so will you make me leave," I asked.

Mother stopped and thought, she didn't know what to say. Maybe it was because she didn't know Y/n for a while. Maybe it was because of Spider. Maybe it was just...

We got into our Va'ru and did not say a word to another. I was silently sobbing and dying inside.

That's when it hit me, Y/n was going to leave soon...

I quickly stood up and ran to her home, not caring what my family would say.

"Neteyam," my father shouted.
