Chapter 50: Enough Games

POV: First person, Y/n

"Spider," I shouted at him. I spotted him somewhere deep in the cave, were most Na'vi wouldn't be. Sitting on the cold
floor, hugging his knees together.

"How are you feeling," I asked as he seems depressed as always.

"Fine I guess, I mean the whole 'saving Quaritch' was not let out. Or else I think I would get kick out of the clan," he responded, bring his legs closer to him.

I hummed, "Jake wouldn't... but Tarsem would," I sat with him. We sat in silence, not knowing what to say.

"So about you and Netey-," I interrupted him.

"So about shifting to Quaritch," I quickly changed to subject. I smiled hoping I did change it.

He laughed, "but really though, what's up with the both of you,"

"Something," I simply said, "so about Quaritch," I pointed out, still wanting to change the topic.

"Alright alright," he stopped pressuring about Neteyam and I, "so what will you be doing? Are you able to communicate with Quaritch in someway," Spider asked.

"I think I can, cause I did before... the first time shifting to him, I was able to talk to him- oh wait I was fighting him anyways... I slept in a bed and saw him, we were in the forest. I then woke up here after he tried choking me. But the second time I went to sleep, I only shifted, so I didn't see Quaritch the second time," I explained.

He hummed, thinking about it.

"How bout I try now," I suggested. He quickly turned to me in shock.

"No! That may risk your life. Cause when you pass out, you've been shifting to Quaritch... we don't know what will happen if you sleep causally or worse try to knock you out... and if you get hurt in someway... Neteyam is gonna whoop my ass," Spider's eyes widened, terrified. Knowing that Neteyam is one of the strongest young members of the clan here.

"Okay," I simply said, "knock me out,"

He screamed at me, "Didn't you hear what I just said,"

"Yeah and,"

"We can't do that- Neteyam will kill me,"

"He's not going to, he's knows what will happen if he does," I smiled at him. Cause if that happens, I will bring Neteyam to hell- or I mean Heaven.. again.

"So about you and Nete-," Spider brought it back.

"Spider," I scolded him and gently smacked his head. He laughed. I decided to hit it back.

"So about you and Kiri," I smirked. He stopped laughing.

"So about Quaritch," he nervously laughed and turned his head away from me.

I laughed to loud, it echoed the cave.

POV: First person, Neteyam

I watched as they laugh and talk. I could not hear what they were saying, but they seem to have a fun time.

Sense when you were so close with her, Spider? Are you playing games with me, Y/n?

Questions boiled me up. She is always half way love for people. She is so hard to read and see through. I sighed and decided to interrupt their conversation. Spider had enough spending time with her.
