POV: First person, Y/n
When we went back to the cave system, I let go of Neteyam's hand.
"When will we go back," I asked Neteyam as we walk side by side.
"My dad said tomorrow," he nervously answered, with his body shaking a bit.
I hummed and saw Mo'at. I smiled and waved at her, "Mo'at, how are you this evening," I sat with her. Neteyam joined, and so did Jake.
"Very well, seeing that everyone is now much better," she smiled at me and passed out some plant/meat-based dishes for the Na'vi. Including some others helping too.
Mo'at sat with us. Everyone was chatting, having an enjoyable time. Also happy to see that Neteyam wasn't looking sad anymore.
Yes I'm happy that Neteyam is happy but.. there is still Spider. Forgetting he is human, he must eat at where the other human are. How sad that he doesn't get to experience something like this as a human.
I ate my food in silence for a while, until I stopped eating. In the beginning of lunch I was talking, but my social interaction had gone dry. I wasn't nervous, but getting quite tired of talking to people. That doesn't mean I don't like people, but talking is so much work.
My head was down a little as I was lost in my own world. Munching my food as I think of what to do. Neteyam immediately noticed my deadly silence. He placed a hand on my shoulder, rubbing it gently to get my attention. I did not budge, still lost in thought.
"Y/n.. Y/n~ Hey you okay? Y/n," he whispered, "Y/n," his other hand rested on my cheek, pushing my face to look at his.
I came back to reality, "Huh? Did you say something," I asked, fluttering my eyes.
"Yes... are you okay? You've been more quiet.. it's worrying me. What's wrong? Something on your mind," he bombarded me with concerning questions, getting closer to me. Checking if I'm alright.
"Oh- oh yeah I'm okay- okkkk you can stop squishing my cheeks-," I responded, he pinched my cheeks with both hands, smiling, "ow- that hurts a bit,"
His expression became concerned after I said that, "Sorry," he let go of them and hesitatingly when back eating. Some Na'vi stared, talked and giggled about our little moment there. Even Jake and Mo'at.
"Y/n you are a very polite young Na'vi. You should just call me your grandmother," Mo'at joked, but it was mostly true. Mo'at likes me a lot, although we have not know each other long like her actual grandchildren. But her joke caused Neteyam to choke on his food. He coughed rapidly, having to drink a bowl of spring water.
"Tsk watch your eating Neteyam," Jake scolded and chuckled at his son. I joined the small laugher.
Jake turned to look at me, "you know if I have another child, I would like to name them. What would you name your child or so children, Y/n," Jake asked, looking at his eldest son, smirking.
This question also caused Neteyma to spit out his water. He coughed, "Dad! What are the both of you doing," Neteyam looked back and forth at his grandmother and Father.
I ignore what just happened and responded, "Well... I never thought about it. Hmm... I really don't know what are my future plans for myself... but to be honest I'm quite scared of going through pregnancy. Because you have to be more careful and I'm quite adventurous... and careless," I quietly laughed.
Jake laughed too, "and how bout you son," tapping Neteyam's shoulder lightly to get his attention back.
"Dad! S- stop," Neteyam blushed and pouted. Ready to explode by embarrassment
