Chapter 71: Faint

POV: First person, Neteyam

After I left Y/n in her Marui. I wanted to find Lo'ak, I wanted some bother advice... on how to give someone a gift. I know that Lo'ak might help me because he's the first sibling in the family to have a crush on someone.

"Baby bro," I shouted. Seeing him feeding his ilu, "why are you alone," I smirked at him, sitting next to him.

"Kiri and Tuk went to spy on you and Y/n," he smirked back, petting his ilu.

My smirk dropped, "what," I started at him. My face flushed.

Did they hear all that?

"Yup," he nodded, "so what you really came here for," he smiled.

"Help,"

"With what,"

"Well... you're the first in the family to already have crush on someone... so can you help find a good time to give this to Y/n," I pulled out the necklace I've made for her.

"Bro... she's your girlfriend already. Just give it to her. I like it, so she must like. You say that the both of his are alike in someway,"

I huffed, "yeah but I'm too nervous," my ears droop.

Lo'ak laughed, "wow big bro is now the one asking for help. I'm joking I'll help you. Let's go right now," he started to get up, walking.

"Thank you Lo'a- wait now?! No! Lo'ak come back here," I groaned, running to him, "right now?,"

He hummed, "you should just get it over with, so you don't have to keep stressing," he continued to walk.

"I'm always stressing...," I sighed, "but wait are you going to Y/n's Marui," I asked.

"Yup," Lo'ak smiled with teeth and a thumbs up, "let's go," he started to run.

"Lo'ak! What are you doing? I'm not going to give it to her yet-," my attention was brought to someone, who has now struck my world with their new outfit, "give me strength Eywa,"

I closed my eyes and felt myself fell to the floor.

POV: First person, Y/n

"Oh shit! Neteyam," Lo'ak quickly came to check him.

"See," Kiri shrugged her arms, "told you he would faint. He's that into you, Y/n," she smiled at me.

"Yeah I can tell," I ran up to the dizzy Neteyam, "haha are you okay, Neteyam,"

Lo'ak began to laugh his ass off, "BAHAHA Neteyam did you really just faint by looking at Y/n? DAMN! You're over heals for her," Lo'ak clapped his hands together.

"Shut up, Lo'ak," Neteyam groaned, "and yes I'm fine, Y/n... just a little dizzy now," he tried to get up on his own, but fell again.

Lo'ak continued to laugh at Neteyam's falling, so did the rest join in. I decided to help Neteyam up, "Thanks," he looks at me and almost tripped again.

"Neteyam...," I sighed, "Kiri I'm might change back into my original clothes," my face saddened a bit. I do like these clothes but... it has a effect on someone.

"No!" said Kiri, Tuk, Tsireya and Neteyam.

"You look beautiful Y/n. S- sorry but you can really make me faint," he fully stood up, with my help.

"Well now that you can stand up. Are you going to...," Lo'ak signaled Neteyam something.

"No," he shook his head, "L- later,"

"Going to what," Tuk asked.

"Yeah, Neteyam what," Kiri smirked.

"Uhh...," Neteyam avoided everyone's eye contact, "Nothing,"

"You're going to 'nothing'", I raised a brow, crossing my arms.

He smiled at me, "it's dinner time... Let's go guys," he grabbed my arm. Wanting to change to subject.

"What? Why change the subject," I asked, holding his hand.

We entered the Sully's Va'ru, both parents gave me the Oel ngati kameie gesture, I returned one too.

I sat next to Tuk and Neteyam again, like the dare and truth- I mean truth and dare sky people game.

While we ate, it was very quiet... no like deadass silence. You could here people munching and the waves crashing.

I was very glad that Neytiri broke that disturbing silence. Because the silence itself was loud, "what is your relationship with my son," she questioned.

"Mother!" Neteyam glared at her, almost choking on his food.

His father and siblings laughed at him.

"Lo'ak said that Neteyam is my boyfriend, and I'm his girlfriend," I pointed to myself, "a... sky people way of claiming one another," I said with confusion.

Neytiri hummed and smiled at me, "you've been protecting this family well. I thank you for that. In return I'm in debt to you," she touched my shoulder.

"That goes on me too," Jake spoke.

"Ah- thank you?" I said with a questioned tone.

We continued to talk about anything really. Neteyam's parents started to talk about hus embarrassing moments. Which made him flushed, so he brought the spotlight to Lo'ak, then Lo'ak brought it to Kiri, which then brought it Tuk.

I had a fun time and a good laugh, which made my stomach hurt.

"Y/n," Tuk nudged my arm, holding something in her other hand, "here. I made this for you," she held a pretty necklace, "this is my first time make one on my own, with my own ideas. And you're the first to have," she smiled.

"Oh thank you," I examined the necklace, it was very pretty necklace for a 7 year old, "put it on from me, will you,"

"Yes," she beamed and placed it around my neck, "will you have it on forever," She asked with a smile.

"Yes, I'll keep it until I die," I smiled at her. Her parents and Kiri smiled at our little conversation.

Lo'ak nudged his older brother, "Brooo... Tuk just gave her a necklace in front of everyone and you couldn't," he whispered.

"It's not like you've got Tsireya to be yours yet," Neteyam whispered back, glaring.

Lo'ak jaws dropped and he gawked, "I am offended," with sarcastic tone.
