POV: First person, Y/n

"...ok," I shrugged.

"Wait we're dating now right," Neteyam tried to confirm.

His siblings just sat there, listening to the conversation.

"Yeah," I nodded, "but does dating mean I'm yours and you're mine," I asked, still confused on what 'dating' means.

"For a sky people way," Lo'ak explained, "it's like you are his girlfriend and he is your boyfriend,"

"Wait so am I dating Tsireya, Tuk and Kiri, right? Because they are my girl friends too. And you too right? Boy fri-," I was interrupted.

"Lo'ak she's not educated with sky people way of loving," Neteyam glared at his young brother.

"Are you saying I'm dumb? I speak the sky peoples tongue," I tilted my head, "I don't think it's really necessary to learn about the sky people, other than the language. All I need to know is that they are vulnerable, stubborn and stupid,"

There was a long paused. I regret what I said, "But! You seem very educated in that. Good- good for you,"

Kiri sighed again, "Lo'ak gets that from dad,"

"No I don't," Lo'ak hissed at Kiri.

"Are you guys going to stay here? There's nothing to do here other than making a conversation," I said.

Tuk, Kiri and Lo'ak looked at Neteyam. Knowing that he was having the urge to be alone with me. But was embarrassed to say to tell them to leave.

"Why didn't you say so Neteyam," Tuk scoffed, "imma go make a wedding sand castle, Lo'ak! Kiri! Come help me," Tuk happily skipped out of my Marui.

When they were gone, it was only Neteyam and I.

Neteyam chuckled nervously, "looks like it's just you and me," he held my hand. I turned to him with a confused look.

"What's a wedding," I asked, raising a brow.

"Oh it's like the mating ceremony stuff- don't worry about it," he shook his head, smiling at me.

I continue to give him a confused look. Took my hand off him and crossed my arms.

He felt the warmth of my hand disappear. His yellow eyes tried to find mine, "Is something wrong," he asked, bringing himself closer to me.

I felt his fingers underneath my chin. Bringing my face to look at him, "I- is it something I did? If it is something that I did. I can fix it. Just tell me...," he careless my cheek.

I tried to give my best smile, but I know for a fact the one I'm showing... is a weak one, "I'm fine... just tired,"

He placed both hands on my cheeks, "You're lying to me, aren't you? You don't trust me on your thoughts? And yet you tell Spider of your secrets," he said with an angry but worry tone, "I know there's more of you that I don't know. And I want all of it. I want to know all of it. Not just because I'm noisy, but I worry for you,"

"Just... thinking. Y- you don't need to worry," I try to convince him, but I find that Neteyam is a stubborn boy.

He sighed, yet continue to stare at me, "I want you to tell me sooner or later... don't- keep stuff away from me. I don't like I when you hide stuff from me," he lightly rubbed my cheeks.

"I love you, Y/n. Gosh.. you make me worry like Lo'ak," he laughed nervously, bringing his head down, then back up to look at me.

"Hmm... I guess I'm a little like your brother," a thought crossed my mind, "wait, does this mean this WHOLE time, you've been thinking me as a sister instead," I took his hands off my cheeks and pointed to myself.

Regretting what he said, he tried to explain, "No- No no no, t- that not what I meant. Uhh- well the two of you seem to get along well, so I thought you learned stuff from him. Like the cussing and the middle finger...," he stopped for a bit, "but I don't like of you as a sister. I never did...,"

"Oh... we'll I do kind of see it now. Quaritch says I act like him too...," my eyes widen, and I cover my mouth.

"Wait sense when did Quaritch tell you," he asked raising a brow.

"Nothing," I shook my head and turn to face away from him.

"Wait Y/n that's something that you are hiding aren't you," he asked again.

I tried to hold my tears, but it felt like needles on my throat, "I'm sorry, you might hate me and misunderstood me too," I said quietly.

If I tell him about the Quaritch problem... he might think that I'm working for them. I'm trying to make Quaritch work for us. Neteyam will hate me...

(Sorry if this conversation is confusing idk what I was doing)
