POV: First person, Y/n

"Wahhh," my eyes sparkled, "the color suits you very well," I took his hands up in front of his face.

"Do they," he asked.

"Mhm," I nodded my head, "now paint mine," I washed the brushes.

"Okay," he chuckled, "but just so you know I'm not very good at this," he took the brush.

"That's okay," I reassured him.

"Can I choose the colors for you," he looked up at me.

"Sure," I said smiling.

He took the brush to the bowls that has different color fruit paint. He was hesitating, not knowing what color looks best. His eyes fidget to many colors.

"Uhh," he nervously laughed, "you know what you can choose," he look back at me and grinned shyly.

"Nope I'll wait until you choose Neteyam," I raised both eyebrows.

His smile faded and clicked his tongue. He went and put all of the colors, many rainbows.

I laughed, "it looks like when the sun when it hits the raindrops, a rainbow," I wriggle my finger looking at them. He got some paint on my skin, but whatever he does is absolutely perfect in my eyes.

"Well why didn't you just say a rainbow instead," he looked at me with the same unexplainable smile.

"Well saying it with more exaggeration is more... beautiful," I continued to look at my nails and showed him it.

But Neteyam kept staring at me with the same eyes again, "right," he said, "very beautiful," he lean closer to me.

"Ooh," I looked at him and lean closer, to the point were our noses were touching, "Me? beautiful," I chuckled.

He sighed, I felt his breath against my lips, "yes.. yes you are beautiful and you know that too," he tilted his head still looking at me.

I chuckled again, he lean in closer, but a small growl was heard near us. It was Meh'ki.

"Oh, right," I moved myself away from him. While Neteyam was still leaning closer, he fell off his sitting position.

"Oh shit," his legs on the rock, while the rest of his body was on the floor, his hissed from the pain from his arm.

"Oh, you okay," I took his wounded hand and examine it. I hummed, "we should replace that with another leaf wrap," I helped him up.

"Yeah," he quietly said, looking down. I smiled at him.

Oh he looks so disappointed in something.

"What's the matter," I asked looking back at him.

"Oh nothing," he quickly said. I hummed.

"Meh'ki go play with your other friends, Neteyam wants to be alone with me," I turned to my best friend and he nodded know what's up.

"I- well yes I want to be alone with- b- but nothings wrong... everything is fine," Neteyam looked down at the ground not wanting to meet my gaze.

"Why.. why are giving me these feelings... but then shut me down the last minute," he sighed taking my hand, clasping with his.

"Because I'm always unsure with myself, I'm sorry that I'm an over thinker," I said bringing myself closer to him.

"It's alright," he smiled at me with the unknown eyes once again.

I took my hands to his head, bringing his forehead to my lips. I kissed his forehead just like last night when he fell asleep.

"I feel much better now Doctor," he laughed and blushed like as if he got sunburn. I laughed.

"You will feel much more better when I clean your wound again," I place a hand behind his back bringing him to my herbs and medicine room.
